The Musaila-Kasaba road in Zambia is nearing completion, and President Hichilema pledges more development projects.

Zambian President Hakainde Hichilema affirmed that the United Front for National Development (UPND) administration is committed to completing more development projects it launched in the Chivunabulli region, in addition to the Musaila-Kasaba road project, which has reached an advanced stage.
The president said the road, which is the first asphalt-paved road in the region, will contribute to boosting economic development once it is completed.
Taking advantage of free education
During a public meeting with residents, Hitchilema explained that the Mwansabombwe High School project, located in the Kabeche district, is also nearing completion, which will allow a greater number of pupils to benefit from the free education that was approved by law.
He added that the vocational training center currently being built in Kakasa Puma will provide an opportunity for many young people to acquire diverse professional skills that will contribute to their future empowerment.
The President noted that, with the abolition of electoral districts, Chivunapoli would benefit more from the Electoral Districts Development Fund (CDF), through the allocation of 80,000 kwacha to the region.
Hetchelema said: “We love the people of Cifunapoli. These are some of the projects we are working on with the aim of improving the standard of living of the citizens, and we are committed to ensuring their completion.”
He added: “All we ask of you is to vote for the United Front for National Development party in the general elections scheduled for August 13, 2026, so that we can continue to implement these and other projects. Do not give your votes to anyone else, because they will abandon these projects.”
