President Abdel Fattah met SisiToday, with Dr. Mostafa Madbouly, Prime Minister, Lieutenant General Ashraf Salem Zaher, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces and Minister of Defense and Military Production, Major General Amr Adel Hosni, Head of the Administrative Control Authority, Engineer Hatem Nabil, Head of the Central Agency for Organization and Administration, Major General Mohamed Salah El-Turki, Director of the Egyptian Military Academy, and Dr. Salafa Gweili, Executive Director of the National Academy for Youth Training and Rehabilitation.
President Sisi is monitoring the governance of appointments and the reform of the state's administrative apparatus.
The official spokesperson for the Presidency of the Republic stated that during the meeting, the President followed up on the executive status of the file of governance of new appointments in the state, and promotions and appointments to leadership positions, within the framework of his follow-up on the developments of administrative reform, and the related efforts to develop human capital and build leaders capable of leading institutional and societal transformation, in a way that enhances Egypt’s position regionally and internationally.
Ambassador Mohamed El Shenawy, the official spokesperson, added that the meeting emphasized that developing the state’s administrative apparatus represents an integrated process that includes several key axes, foremost among them the qualification and development of the human element, the development of the infrastructure, and the reorganization of structural and organizational relationships between the various units according to the nature of the activity and specialization.
In this context, a review was conducted of the implementation of a number of institutional development projects, the expansion of the application of electronic assessment tools, the development of work and qualification mechanisms, as well as investment in human resources and the selection of competent individuals capable of management, development and improving the level of public services, in coordination between the various concerned parties.
The official spokesperson explained that the President stressed, in this context, the need to continue working to develop the state’s administrative apparatus in a way that ensures efficiency, effectiveness and the ability to keep pace with the requirements of comprehensive development, directing His Excellency to enhance the rational use of resources and achieve higher levels of governance and institutional effectiveness, while continuing to apply the standards of efficiency, merit and transparency in the various work procedures within the state’s administrative apparatus.
