They met President Abdel Fattah al-SisiToday, with Lieutenant General Ashraf Salem Zaher, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces and Minister of Defense and Military Production, Major General Walid Aref, Head of the Engineering Authority of the Armed Forces, and Major General Ahmed Fouda, Assistant Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces for Engineering Projects, at the Strategic Command headquarters in the New Capital.
The President is monitoring the status of projects being implemented through the Armed Forces Engineering Authority.
The official spokesman for the Presidency of the Republic stated that during the meeting, the President followed up on the status of the projects being implemented by the Engineering Authority of the Armed Forces, in cooperation with various ministries, agencies and bodies concerned with the state, in many service and development sectors, with the aim of monitoring the time frame for their implementation and completion.
Ambassador Mohamed El Shenawy, the official spokesman for the Presidency, added that the President also followed up during the meeting on the executive status of the various cooperation protocols signed between the Engineering Authority of the Armed Forces and a number of ministries, agencies and government bodies, to implement a number of service and development projects in many vital sectors.
President Sisi directs that projects be completed as quickly as possible
In this regard, the President stressed the need to complete the implementation of these projects as quickly as possible, in order to contribute to improving and raising the efficiency of the level of services provided to citizens in many service sectors.
He also stressed the need to work hard towards completing the developmental aspect of these projects, which will contribute to achieving many of the desired developmental goals and contribute to achieving sustainable development in the Egyptian state.
