Libya regains its executive seat in CAFRAD after 12 years

في خطوة تعكس عودة الحضور الليبي إلى الساحة الإفريقية، انتُخبت ليبيا لعضوية المجلس التنفيذي لـالمنظمة الإفريقية للإدارة العامة ممثلةً لإقليم شمال إفريقيا، وذلك للفترة من 2026 إلى 2029، بعد غياب دام 12 عامًا.
This came during the work of the sixty-first session of the Administrative Council of the Organization, which was hosted by Rabat on July 14 and 15, 2026, with the participation of the Ministers of Civil Service and Public Administration and the heads of delegations of the member states.
Libya was represented at the meetings by Abdul-Moneim Ibrahim Saleh, Minister of Civil Service, and the Libyan participation culminated in its election to the Executive Council, in a step that strengthens its role within the organization and brings it back into the decision-making circles in the fields of public administration at the African level.

This membership will enable Libya to contribute to the formulation of the organization’s policies and programs, as well as to enhance cooperation with African countries and exchange experiences in the areas of administrative reform, institutional capacity building, governance, and digital transformation, in support of efforts to develop government performance.
وتُعد «CAFRAD» واحدة من أبرز المنظمات الإفريقية المتخصصة في تطوير الإدارة العامة، حيث تعمل على دعم التعاون بين الدول الأعضاء وتعزيز كفاءة المؤسسات الحكومية، بما يسهم في تحقيق أهداف التنمية المستدامة في القارة.
وفي هذا السياق، أشادت منظمة التكامل الليبي الإفريقي بهذا الإنجاز، مؤكدة أن تعزيز حضور ليبيا في المؤسسات الإفريقية يعكس عودة فاعلة للعمل القاري المشترك، ويفتح آفاقًا أوسع للتعاون وتبادل الخبرات، بما يتماشى مع مستهدفات الاتحاد الأفريقي وأجندته التنموية 2063، ويدعم مسار التكامل والتنمية في إفريقيا.
