
Dreams FC secured their place in the 2026 Ghana FA Cup final after defeating Medeama SC 3-2.
After a very exciting semi-final, Dreams FC triumphed 3-2 over Medeama SC, the current leaders of the Ghanaian Premier League.
Dreams FC will meet Nations FC in the final, after the latter eliminated Aduana FC in the other semi-final on April 17.

An unprecedented cup showdown
Dreams FC, the 2023 champions, are aiming for their second title, while Nations FC are playing their first Ghanaian FA Cup final in an unprecedented fiery encounter.
The Ghana Football Association has not yet announced the date for the Ghana FA Cup final between Dreams FC and Medeama SC.

Queiroz appointed as Ghana coach
In a different context, Portuguese coach Carlos Queiroz, the technical director of the Ghana national team, confirmed his readiness to begin his journey with the Black Stars.
The Ghana Football Association had announced the signing of Carlos Queiroz to coach the national team in the 2026 World Cup, explaining that the coach would immediately begin preparing the Black Stars for the competition to be held in the United States, Mexico and Canada.
Queiroz’s message read as follows: “Dear all of you… With deep gratitude and appreciation to the Ghana Football Association, and with all responsibility and humility, I begin this new chapter with the Ghana national football team.”.
He continued: “Football has given me unforgettable challenges, lessons, and journeys around the world. Today, I accept this task with the same passion and commitment that have guided me throughout my career.”.
