Hassan Ali Youssef, Secretary General of the Union of Comorian Students in Egypt, sent a strong message from the heart Cairo University On the occasion of the celebration of “Africa Day”, he called on all African countries and peoples to unite and stand together, stressing that the African continent possesses the resources and sciences that make it one of the world’s powers.

Africa, rich in knowledge and resources

In exclusive statements to “Zoom Africa News”, during the celebration of “Africa Day” at Cairo University, Youssef said: “Today we celebrate Africa, and our message to the whole world is that we are a rich continent, not only in its natural resources, but also in its knowledge, its people, and the sources of goodness that overflow from it,” stressing the need to strive seriously to unify the word of the African nation as the only way to rise and progress.

Youth's vision for the future

Regarding the aspirations of African youth, Youssef added: “We, as young people, look forward to seeing our leaders and officials join hands so that we can stand strong against the current global challenges. We need to live and prosper like the rest of the world, and this will only be achieved through unity and adherence to our shared destiny.”.

The Secretary-General of the Comoros Students Union concluded his remarks by expressing his thanks and appreciation to the Arab Republic of Egypt, its leadership and people, praising the role of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, Dr. Badr Abdel-Aty, Minister of Foreign Affairs, and the President of Cairo University, for embracing the sons of the continent, expressing his wishes for goodness and prosperity for Africa and the whole world.

In a separate context, Miriam Kobe, Deputy Ambassador of the Republic of Liberia to Cairo, expressed her pride in participating in the celebrations of “Africa Day”At Cairo University, stressing that unity and solidarity are the two fundamental pillars for achieving the common African dream.”.

The strength of diplomatic relations

In exclusive statements to “Zoom Africa News” during the celebration of Africa Day at Cairo University, Kobi praised the level of bilateral relations between Monrovia and Cairo, describing them as “very friendly”.

She said: “We greatly value our partnership with Egypt, especially in the areas of trade and investment. What strengthens these ties is the active and mutual diplomatic representation with our embassies in both countries, which pushes cooperation efforts to broader horizons.”.

The Deputy Ambassador stressed that her message on this occasion is the need for Africans to hold fast to their unity, saying: “We must be united, for this unity is not just a slogan, but the goal and the solution that the peoples of the continent seek to ensure a better future.”.
