Tanzania opens the doors to the agricultural future... Naninani 2026 brings the world together in Dodoma

The United Republic of Tanzania is preparing to host one of the most prominent agricultural events in the African continent, with the launch of the “Naninani” International Agricultural Exhibition 2026 during the period from 1 to 8 August 2026.

The exhibition is being held at the Dr. John Samuel Malesela Exhibition Centre in Dodoma, organized by the Tanzanian Ministry of Agriculture, with broad participation from governments, international institutions, specialized companies and investors from around the world.

This year’s exhibition comes under the theme: “Harnessing market information to enhance productivity, added value and global competitiveness,” in a move that reflects Tanzania’s orientation towards developing its agricultural sector and transforming it into a major engine for economic growth and attracting investments.

An international platform for innovation and investment

The “Naninani 2026” exhibition represents an integrated platform that brings together decision-makers, researchers, experts and entrepreneurs, with the aim of showcasing the latest agricultural technologies, exchanging experiences and promoting the transfer of modern technology to the agricultural sector, in order to contribute to raising productivity and improving the quality of agricultural products.

The event also focuses on building strategic partnerships between the public and private sectors, encouraging investments in agricultural manufacturing and value chains, as well as discussing the most prominent challenges related to food security, climate change, and sustainable agricultural development.

Diverse events and promising business opportunities

The exhibition includes a program full of activities, including an international exhibition of agricultural technologies and services, specialized workshops, scientific discussion sessions, in addition to the launch of new products and technologies, the organization of bilateral business meetings (B2B), as well as live demonstrations of modern agricultural machinery and equipment.

The events are also spread across specialized days, including Agricultural Finance Day, Horticulture Day, Livestock Shows, Agricultural Extension Conference, and Agricultural Mechanization Day, providing ample opportunities for networking and exchanging experiences among the various participants.

Strengthening regional and international cooperation

The exhibition targets a wide range of participants including farmers, agricultural companies, equipment manufacturers, financial institutions, universities, research centers, international organizations, development partners, as well as investors and government officials, with the aim of promoting regional and international cooperation and supporting the transition towards more sustainable and efficient agriculture.

The organizers expect “Naninani 2026” to contribute to increasing investments directed towards agricultural technologies and infrastructure, enhancing knowledge exchange, and empowering youth and women in the agricultural business sector, as well as supporting Tanzania’s efforts to achieve food security and consolidate its position as a regional center for agricultural innovation and investment in the African continent, thus opening new horizons for economic growth and sustainable development.
