Zerbo Sabani revealed that during 2025, 169 IT specialists were recruited to support the public administration in Burkina Faso, in addition to the selection of another 80 to join a specialized program called Elite IT, which aims to prepare highly qualified personnel in the fields of cybersecurity and artificial intelligence.

She emphasized that these competencies are poised to play a pivotal role in implementing the government’s ambitious digital transformation strategy, noting that the national immersion phase within GIFA represents a crucial step before commencing their official duties, as it provides an instilling of the values of discipline, a sense of responsibility, and national commitment.
