The Sudanese Armed Forces announced new field gains on a number of battlefronts, confirming the destruction of hundreds of military vehicles belonging to the Rapid Support Forces and the capture of others, in addition to regaining control of the city of Kurmuk in the Blue Nile State, during military operations carried out between the first and fifteenth of July 2026.

The army explained, in a press release issued by its official spokesman, that the military operations resulted in the destruction of 205 combat vehicles and 17 trucks loaded with military equipment, in addition to the capture of 21 combat vehicles and the downing of four FH-95 strategic drones, noting that these results were achieved on several combat axes in different regions of the country.
According to the statement, in the Darfur axis, 76 combat vehicles and 17 military trucks were destroyed, along with what the army described as heavy losses in lives and equipment for the Rapid Support Forces. In the South Kordofan axis, the army announced the destruction of 19 combat vehicles and the killing of dozens of fighters.
The statement added that operations in North Kordofan resulted in the destruction of 54 combat vehicles and the downing of three FH-95 drones, as well as the killing of dozens of Rapid Support Forces personnel, while forces in the White Nile axis managed to down another drone of the same type.
In Blue Nile State, the army said its forces recaptured the town of Kurmuk and surrounding areas after fierce fighting, noting that the Rapid Support Forces withdrew from the region after suffering losses in personnel and equipment. It added that operations in this sector resulted in the destruction of 56 combat vehicles and the capture of 21 others, in addition to quantities of weapons, ammunition, jamming equipment, and communications gear.
The armed forces confirmed the continuation of their military operations on various fronts, stressing that they will continue fighting until security and stability are restored in the country.
