Le Mouvement populaire de lib\u00e9ration salue Soudan<\/a> Le 16 mai 2026, \u00e0 l'occasion du quarante-troisi\u00e8me anniversaire de sa fondation, dans un contexte politique et \u00e9conomique complexe au Soudan du Sud. Soudan<\/a> Cet \u00e9v\u00e9nement repr\u00e9sente une \u00e9tape historique marquante qui rappelle le lancement du mouvement en 1983 sous la direction de John Garang, lorsqu'il s'est transform\u00e9 d'un mouvement de r\u00e9bellion arm\u00e9e en l'un des acteurs politiques les plus importants de la r\u00e9gion.<\/p>\n

L'\u00e9mergence du Mouvement populaire de lib\u00e9ration du Soudan<\/h2>\n

Le Mouvement populaire de lib\u00e9ration du Soudan a \u00e9t\u00e9 fond\u00e9 en 1983 \u00e0 la suite d'une r\u00e9bellion militaire dans la ville de Bor, qui a conduit \u00e0 la formation de l'\u201c Arm\u00e9e populaire de lib\u00e9ration du Soudan \u201d, laquelle a men\u00e9 une longue guerre contre le gouvernement soudanais de l'\u00e9poque. Le mouvement a brandi le slogan du \u201c Nouveau Soudan \u201d, appelant \u00e0 la justice, \u00e0 l'\u00e9galit\u00e9 et \u00e0 la fin de la marginalisation politique et ethnique.<\/p>\n

Pendant plus de deux d\u00e9cennies, le mouvement a jou\u00e9 un r\u00f4le central dans la deuxi\u00e8me guerre civile soudanaise, avant de signer l'Accord de paix global en 2005, qui a ensuite ouvert la voie \u00e0 l'ind\u00e9pendance du Soudan du Sud en juillet 2011.<\/p>\n

Selon des informations r\u00e9centes, le SPLM a annonc\u00e9 qu'il organiserait de grandes c\u00e9l\u00e9brations dans la capitale, Juba, pour marquer son 43e anniversaire, sous le slogan : \u201c Le SPLM d\u00e9fend un Soudan du Sud pacifique et prosp\u00e8re. \u201d.<\/p>\n

Les c\u00e9l\u00e9brations de cette ann\u00e9e interviennent alors que le pays est confront\u00e9 \u00e0 une grave crise \u00e9conomique, marqu\u00e9e notamment par l'inflation, des retards de paiement des salaires et des difficult\u00e9s d'application de l'accord de paix.
