Face \u00e0 la recrudescence du braconnage et au d\u00e9clin alarmant du nombre d'\u00e9l\u00e9phants, une \u00e9tude scientifique r\u00e9cente a tir\u00e9 la sonnette d'alarme, avertissant que la disparition des \u00e9l\u00e9phants pourrait ouvrir la voie \u00e0 une catastrophe environnementale mondiale en r\u00e9duisant la capacit\u00e9 des for\u00eats \u00e0 absorber le carbone et en augmentant les \u00e9missions responsables du r\u00e9chauffement climatique.<\/p>\n
