Des donn\u00e9es r\u00e9centes publi\u00e9es par l'Autorit\u00e9 de r\u00e9gulation nig\u00e9riane ont r\u00e9v\u00e9l\u00e9 secteur p\u00e9trolier<\/a> (NMDPRA) La raffinerie de p\u00e9trole et de produits p\u00e9trochimiques Dangote a export\u00e9 environ 1,66 milliard de litres de produits p\u00e9troliers raffin\u00e9s en avril 2026.<\/p>\n

Le Nigeria renforce sa pr\u00e9sence en tant que fournisseur mondial de carburants alternatifs gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 des exportations record en provenance de la raffinerie Dangote.<\/h2>\n

Cette \u00e9volution survient dans un contexte de tensions croissantes entre les \u00c9tats-Unis et l'Iran, suscitant des inqui\u00e9tudes quant aux perturbations potentielles des cha\u00eenes d'approvisionnement mondiales en carburant et \u00e0 l'augmentation de la demande internationale de fournisseurs de carburants alternatifs.<\/p>\n

D\u2019apr\u00e8s les donn\u00e9es de l\u2019Autorit\u00e9 nig\u00e9riane de r\u00e9gulation du p\u00e9trole (NMDPRA) pour avril 2026, la raffinerie a \u00e9mis les informations suivantes\u00a0:<\/p>\n

La raffinerie Dangote est la seule grande raffinerie actuellement en activit\u00e9 au Nig\u00e9ria, produisant des quantit\u00e9s suffisantes de produits p\u00e9troliers pour la consommation int\u00e9rieure et l'exportation.<\/p>\n

Les analystes du secteur ont qualifi\u00e9 le volume des exportations d'in\u00e9dit, notamment pour le k\u00e9ros\u00e8ne et le diesel, soulignant l'influence croissante de la raffinerie de Leckie, d'une capacit\u00e9 de 650\u00a0000 barils par jour, sur le march\u00e9 mondial de l'\u00e9nergie.<\/p>\n

Les exportations totales repr\u00e9sentent en moyenne 55,4 millions de litres par jour. Cette hausse significative co\u00efncide avec l'incertitude qui r\u00e8gne sur le march\u00e9 p\u00e9trolier mondial suite \u00e0 l'\u00e9chec des n\u00e9gociations de paix entre les \u00c9tats-Unis et l'Iran, notamment en raison des tensions li\u00e9es au d\u00e9troit d'Ormuz, l'une des voies de transit p\u00e9troli\u00e8res strat\u00e9giques les plus importantes au monde.<\/p>\n

Selon les experts, les tensions g\u00e9opolitiques ont incit\u00e9 l'Europe, l'Afrique et certaines r\u00e9gions d'Asie \u00e0 rechercher des sources d'approvisionnement en carburant plus fiables, le Nig\u00e9ria apparaissant comme un fournisseur alternatif cl\u00e9.<\/p>\n

Un rapport de l'Autorit\u00e9 nig\u00e9riane de r\u00e9gulation des prix du p\u00e9trole et du gaz (NMDPRA) indique que les raffineries nationales ont fonctionn\u00e9 \u00e0 une capacit\u00e9 de production moyenne de 99\u00a0121\u00a0TP3T en avril, la raffinerie Dangote assurant la majeure partie de cette production. La NMDPRA pr\u00e9cise que cette raffinerie a fonctionn\u00e9 \u00e0 pleine capacit\u00e9 \u201c\u00a0pendant la plupart des jours d'avril\u00a0\u201d.<\/p>\n

Les approvisionnements en p\u00e9trole brut des raffineries nationales ont fortement augment\u00e9, atteignant 18,37 millions de barils en avril, contre 13,11 millions de barils en mars.<\/p>\n

Malgr\u00e9 l'augmentation des exportations, la raffinerie a continu\u00e9 \u00e0 approvisionner le march\u00e9 local en grandes quantit\u00e9s\u00a0:<\/p>\n

La production p\u00e9troli\u00e8re quotidienne moyenne \u00e9tait de 53,6 millions de litres<\/p>\n

Les approvisionnements int\u00e9rieurs en essence ont atteint 40,7 millions de litres par jour.<\/p>\n

Les exportations quotidiennes moyennes de p\u00e9trole ont atteint 17,1 millions de litres.<\/p>\n

Les exportations de gazole ont atteint 17,8 millions de litres par jour, d\u00e9passant ainsi la production nationale de 8 millions de litres par jour. Les exportations de k\u00e9ros\u00e8ne ont atteint 20,5 millions de litres par jour, tandis que la production nationale moyenne s'\u00e9levait \u00e0 2,6 millions de litres par jour.<\/p>\n

Cette performance remarquable des exportations de k\u00e9ros\u00e8ne intervient dans un contexte d'inqui\u00e9tudes parmi les compagnies a\u00e9riennes nationales concernant la hausse des co\u00fbts du k\u00e9ros\u00e8ne.<\/p>\n

Les derniers chiffres indiquent que le Nigeria pourrait d\u00e9sormais devenir un exportateur net de produits p\u00e9troliers raffin\u00e9s pour la premi\u00e8re fois depuis des d\u00e9cennies, gr\u00e2ce notamment \u00e0 l'augmentation de la production de la raffinerie Dangote.<\/p>\n

Par ailleurs, l'Autorit\u00e9 nig\u00e9riane de commercialisation des produits p\u00e9troliers a r\u00e9v\u00e9l\u00e9 que les Nig\u00e9rians ont consomm\u00e9 en moyenne 51,1 millions de litres d'essence par jour en avril. La consommation de diesel a atteint 17,3 millions de litres par jour, tandis que celle de k\u00e9ros\u00e8ne s'est \u00e9tablie en moyenne \u00e0 2,5 millions de litres par jour.<\/p>\n

Malgr\u00e9 les am\u00e9liorations apport\u00e9es aux op\u00e9rations de raffinage nationales, les prix de l'essence sont rest\u00e9s \u00e9lev\u00e9s \u00e0 l'\u00e9chelle nationale en raison des prix \u00e9lev\u00e9s du p\u00e9trole brut \u00e0 l'\u00e9chelle mondiale, qui se sont \u00e9tablis en moyenne \u00e0 120,55 dollars am\u00e9ricains le baril au cours de cette p\u00e9riode.<\/p>\n
