Le ministre \u00e9gyptien des Affaires \u00e9trang\u00e8res, le Dr. Badr Abdel-Aati<\/a>Des r\u00e9unions intensives se sont d\u00e9roul\u00e9es en marge du Sommet France-Afrique \u00e0 Nairobi, au Kenya, qui s'est tenu sous le slogan \u201c L'Afrique en avant \u201d, avec la participation du pr\u00e9sident fran\u00e7ais Emmanuel Macron et du pr\u00e9sident \u00e9gyptien Abdel Fattah al-Sisi.<\/p>\n

Le Dr Badr Abdel-Aty, ministre des Affaires \u00e9trang\u00e8res, de la Coop\u00e9ration internationale et des \u00c9gyptiens de l'\u00e9tranger, a rencontr\u00e9 Th\u00e9r\u00e8se Wagner, ministre des Affaires \u00e9trang\u00e8res de la R\u00e9publique d\u00e9mocratique du Congo. Le ministre des Affaires \u00e9trang\u00e8res a exprim\u00e9 sa fiert\u00e9 quant aux relations bilat\u00e9rales qui unissent les deux pays et aux progr\u00e8s tangibles qu'ils ont connus ces derni\u00e8res ann\u00e9es. Il a \u00e9galement fait part de son souhait de continuer \u00e0 renforcer la coop\u00e9ration conjointe dans divers domaines, notamment \u00e9conomiques et de d\u00e9veloppement, et a not\u00e9 les pr\u00e9paratifs en cours pour la tenue du Forum Afrique d'El Alamein, pr\u00e9vu \u00e0 El Alamein en juin prochain, en marge du sommet de coordination de mi-ann\u00e9e de l'Union africaine.<\/p>\n

La r\u00e9union a port\u00e9 sur les derniers d\u00e9veloppements dans l'est de la R\u00e9publique d\u00e9mocratique du Congo. Le ministre Abdel-Aty a r\u00e9affirm\u00e9 le plein soutien de l'\u00c9gypte \u00e0 tous les efforts de m\u00e9diation r\u00e9gionaux et internationaux visant \u00e0 mettre en \u0153uvre un r\u00e8glement politique global contribuant \u00e0 la stabilit\u00e9 de la r\u00e9gion des Grands Lacs. Il a soulign\u00e9 l'importance de lier la r\u00e9alisation de la paix et le r\u00e9tablissement de la stabilit\u00e9, d'une part, et la r\u00e9alisation du d\u00e9veloppement et sa p\u00e9rennisation, d'autre part, dans le cadre d'une approche globale et int\u00e9gr\u00e9e prenant en compte toutes les dimensions du conflit\u00a0: politique, \u00e9conomique, militaire et d\u00e9veloppementale. Dans ce contexte, il a soulign\u00e9 le soutien apport\u00e9 \u00e0 la mise en \u0153uvre de cette approche, notamment compte tenu de la prise de fonction par Son Excellence le Pr\u00e9sident de la R\u00e9publique \u00e0 la t\u00eate du dossier de la reconstruction et du d\u00e9veloppement post-conflit au niveau de l'Union africaine, et du fait que l'\u00c9gypte accueille le Centre de l'Union africaine pour la reconstruction et le d\u00e9veloppement post-conflit.<\/p>\n

R\u00e9tablir l'inclusion gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 l'Initiative du bassin du Nil<\/h2>\n

Concernant la s\u00e9curit\u00e9 hydrique, le ministre Abdel-Aty a soulign\u00e9 l'importance de la coop\u00e9ration et de l'int\u00e9gration dans le bassin du Nil pour parvenir \u00e0 un b\u00e9n\u00e9fice commun et \u00e0 des int\u00e9r\u00eats mutuels, insistant sur la n\u00e9cessit\u00e9 de respecter l'esprit de consensus et de fraternit\u00e9 afin de r\u00e9tablir l'inclusion au sein de l'Initiative du bassin du Nil, et rejetant les actions unilat\u00e9rales. Il s'est f\u00e9licit\u00e9 des \u00e9volutions positives du processus consultatif de l'Initiative du bassin du Nil visant \u00e0 r\u00e9tablir l'inclusion conform\u00e9ment au droit international, de mani\u00e8re \u00e0 garantir un b\u00e9n\u00e9fice mutuel pour tous les pays du bassin du Nil.<\/p>\n

R\u00e9unions intensives<\/h2>\n

En marge du sommet, Abdel-Aati a tenu des r\u00e9unions s\u00e9par\u00e9es avec le ministre sierra l\u00e9onais des Affaires \u00e9trang\u00e8res Alhaji Musa Kabba, la ministre lib\u00e9rienne des Affaires \u00e9trang\u00e8res Sarah Bisolo Nyanti, la ministre namibienne des Affaires \u00e9trang\u00e8res Selma Achebe-Musave et la ministre nig\u00e9riane des Affaires \u00e9trang\u00e8res Bianca Ojukwu.<\/p>\n
