Selon le Premier ministre Milli Papalande<\/a>La c\u00e9r\u00e9monie se d\u00e9roulera de 8h \u00e0 14h sous le slogan \u201c Prot\u00e9ger les acquis et le bond qualitatif vers le statut de pays \u00e0 revenu interm\u00e9diaire sup\u00e9rieur \u201d, les pr\u00e9paratifs \u00e9tant d\u00e9j\u00e0 en cours pour ce que les autorit\u00e9s ont d\u00e9crit comme un \u00e9v\u00e9nement d'\u00c9tat de haut niveau.<\/p>\n

Museveni est au pouvoir depuis 1986, ce qui fait de lui l'un des dirigeants africains rest\u00e9s le plus longtemps en fonction, et au fil des ans, son leadership a \u00e9t\u00e9 salu\u00e9 pour avoir r\u00e9tabli la stabilit\u00e9 et stimul\u00e9 la croissance \u00e9conomique apr\u00e8s des ann\u00e9es de troubles.<\/p>\n

Le pr\u00e9sident Museveni, \u00e2g\u00e9 de 81 ans, a remport\u00e9 un nouveau mandat pr\u00e9sidentiel apr\u00e8s avoir re\u00e7u 71 651 TP3 000 voix, selon la commission \u00e9lectorale ougandaise, battant son principal rival, Bobi Wine, qui a re\u00e7u 24 721 TP3 000 voix.<\/p>\n

Les \u00e9lections se sont d\u00e9roul\u00e9es en janvier, \u00e0 l'issue d'une campagne tendue. Des observateurs, notamment des Nations Unies, ont exprim\u00e9 leur inqui\u00e9tude quant au climat qui r\u00e9gnait autour du scrutin, faisant \u00e9tat d'intimidations, d'arrestations et de restrictions des activit\u00e9s de l'opposition.<\/p>\n

Accusation de fraude \u00e9lectorale<\/h2>\n

Bobby Wayne, de son vrai nom Robert Kiagolani, a rejet\u00e9 les r\u00e9sultats de l'\u00e9lection. Un porte-parole de son parti a qualifi\u00e9 les r\u00e9sultats de \u201c truqu\u00e9s \u201d, tandis que le candidat lui-m\u00eame a d\u00e9nonc\u00e9 des irr\u00e9gularit\u00e9s, notamment des bourrages d'urnes. Les autorit\u00e9s n'ont pas confirm\u00e9 ces all\u00e9gations.<\/p>\n

Son maintien au pouvoir a suscit\u00e9 des critiques, notamment concernant les modifications constitutionnelles qui ont aboli la limitation du nombre de mandats et les restrictions d'\u00e2ge pour la pr\u00e9sidence, lui permettant ainsi de prolonger son mandat.<\/p>\n

L'Ouganda se pr\u00e9pare \u00e0 la c\u00e9r\u00e9monie d'investiture pr\u00e9sidentielle sur la place c\u00e9r\u00e9monielle de Kololo en organisant un d\u00e9fil\u00e9 militaire pr\u00e9sentant des \u00e9quipements militaires de pointe provenant des forces a\u00e9riennes et terrestres.<\/p>\n

Cette d\u00e9monstration met en lumi\u00e8re la force, la pr\u00e9paration et l'efficacit\u00e9 des Forces de d\u00e9fense du peuple ougandais, dans le cadre des pr\u00e9paratifs du pays pour la c\u00e9r\u00e9monie d'investiture pr\u00e9sidentielle.<\/p>\n

Papalanda a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 que plus de 35 d\u00e9l\u00e9gations internationales du monde entier devraient y participer, ainsi que des ministres, des parlementaires, des ambassadeurs et des membres du public, et que les services de s\u00e9curit\u00e9 coordonnent les dispositions n\u00e9cessaires pour assurer le bon d\u00e9roulement de l'\u00e9v\u00e9nement en toute s\u00e9curit\u00e9.<\/p>\n

Elle a \u00e9galement indiqu\u00e9 que la c\u00e9r\u00e9monie d'ouverture serait diffus\u00e9e en direct \u00e0 la t\u00e9l\u00e9vision et sur les plateformes num\u00e9riques afin d'\u00eatre accessible \u00e0 l'ensemble du pays.<\/p>\n

Avant le d\u00e9but de la c\u00e9r\u00e9monie d'investiture, le gouvernement a pr\u00e9sent\u00e9 une s\u00e9rie d'activit\u00e9s pr\u00e9alables, notamment la remise du rapport sur la mise en \u0153uvre du programme du mandat pr\u00e9c\u00e9dent et la tenue de pri\u00e8res d'action de gr\u00e2ce.<\/p>\n
