Le ministre k\u00e9nyan de la Sant\u00e9, Aden Duale, a tenu mercredi des entretiens bilat\u00e9raux avec l'ambassadeur du Royaume hach\u00e9mite de Jordanie au Kenya. Kenya<\/a> Roland Samara, dans une d\u00e9marche visant \u00e0 renforcer la coop\u00e9ration entre les deux pays dans le domaine du d\u00e9veloppement de la couverture sanitaire universelle.<\/p>\n

Le minist\u00e8re de la Sant\u00e9 a expliqu\u00e9 Kenyan<\/a>Dans un communiqu\u00e9 officiel publi\u00e9 sur sa page de m\u00e9dias sociaux, X a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 que la r\u00e9union \u00e9tait ax\u00e9e sur les moyens de faire progresser le programme de r\u00e9forme du syst\u00e8me de sant\u00e9 au Kenya, en garantissant une meilleure qualit\u00e9 des services de sant\u00e9 et un acc\u00e8s plus large \u00e0 ceux-ci.<\/p>\n

Les discussions ont notamment port\u00e9 sur l\u2019exploration de m\u00e9canismes visant \u00e0 \u00e9largir l\u2019acc\u00e8s aux services de sant\u00e9 sp\u00e9cialis\u00e9s, en particulier dans le domaine du traitement du cancer, ainsi que sur le soutien \u00e0 la mise en place d\u2019un syst\u00e8me de sant\u00e9 plus \u00e9quitable et flexible, capable de r\u00e9pondre aux besoins des citoyens avec une grande efficacit\u00e9.<\/p>\n

Les deux parties ont affirm\u00e9 que cette coop\u00e9ration s\u2019inscrit dans le cadre du programme de transformation \u00e9conomique du Kenya, notamment du programme BETA et du mod\u00e8le Taifa Care, qui pr\u00e9voit la mise en \u0153uvre de l\u2019Autorit\u00e9 sociale de sant\u00e9 afin d\u2019am\u00e9liorer le financement du secteur de la sant\u00e9, d\u2019optimiser les d\u00e9penses et de r\u00e9duire la charge financi\u00e8re pesant sur les citoyens.<\/p>\n

Divers domaines de coop\u00e9ration<\/span><\/h4>\n

Les discussions ont \u00e9galement port\u00e9 sur les possibilit\u00e9s de coop\u00e9ration dans de multiples domaines, notamment la sant\u00e9 num\u00e9rique, la fabrication locale de m\u00e9dicaments et de fournitures m\u00e9dicales, le d\u00e9veloppement de syst\u00e8mes d'orientation, ainsi que le renforcement des capacit\u00e9s du personnel de sant\u00e9 et l'harmonisation des cadres r\u00e9glementaires entre les deux pays.<\/p>\n

Le Kenya a exprim\u00e9 son int\u00e9r\u00eat \u00e0 tirer profit de l\u2019exp\u00e9rience de la Jordanie en mati\u00e8re de mise en \u0153uvre de la couverture sanitaire universelle, notamment en ce qui concerne la conception des offres de services de sant\u00e9 et des syst\u00e8mes de paiement des prestataires de services, afin de garantir la durabilit\u00e9 et l\u2019efficacit\u00e9 des soins de sant\u00e9.<\/p>\n

Plusieurs responsables, dont le directeur de la sant\u00e9 publique et de l'hygi\u00e8ne, le Dr Stephen Mulishi, ont assist\u00e9 \u00e0 la r\u00e9union, confirmant ainsi l'importance de ce partenariat pour soutenir le d\u00e9veloppement du secteur de la sant\u00e9 et renforcer la coop\u00e9ration bilat\u00e9rale entre le Kenya et la Jordanie.<\/p>\n

La Jordanie et le Kenya entretiennent une relation strat\u00e9gique croissante fond\u00e9e sur l'\u00e9change d'int\u00e9r\u00eats dans des domaines vitaux, les deux pays cherchant \u00e0 renforcer leurs liens commerciaux par le biais du \u201c Conseil d'affaires jordano-kenyan \u201d afin d'ouvrir de nouveaux march\u00e9s pour les exportations jordaniennes telles que les engrais et les m\u00e9dicaments en Afrique de l'Est, en \u00e9change de l'importation de produits agricoles kenyans tels que le th\u00e9 et le caf\u00e9.<\/p>\n
