Le Parlement a annonc\u00e9 Afrique<\/a>\u00a0Le Parlement panafricain a annonc\u00e9 la formation de son Bureau pour sa septi\u00e8me session l\u00e9gislative, une mesure qui t\u00e9moigne de l'engagement de l'institution continentale \u00e0 repr\u00e9senter \u00e9quitablement les cinq r\u00e9gions au sein de sa structure de direction.<\/p>\n

Le bureau de la Chambre des communes comprend Afrique<\/a>\u00a0Un pr\u00e9sident et quatre vice-pr\u00e9sidents, r\u00e9partis g\u00e9ographiquement entre l'Afrique du Nord, l'Afrique de l'Est, l'Afrique de l'Ouest, l'Afrique centrale et l'Afrique du Sud, ce qui renforce le principe d'\u00e9quilibre r\u00e9gional qui constitue une pierre angulaire du travail du Parlement.<\/p>\n

Pr\u00e9sidence de l'Afrique du Nord<\/h2>\n

Le bureau \u00e9tait pr\u00e9sid\u00e9 par le d\u00e9put\u00e9 Fateh Boutbig, repr\u00e9sentant l'Afrique du Nord, ce qui conf\u00e8re \u00e0 cette r\u00e9gion un r\u00f4le central dans la gestion des travaux parlementaires durant cette session. M. Boutbig devrait piloter les efforts visant \u00e0 renforcer le r\u00f4le de contr\u00f4le et de l\u00e9gislation du Parlement et \u00e0 soutenir les priorit\u00e9s d'int\u00e9gration continentale.<\/p>\n

Afrique de l'Est au poste de premier adjoint<\/h3>\n

Le poste de premier vice-pr\u00e9sident a \u00e9t\u00e9 attribu\u00e9 au Dr Ashebir Gayo, originaire de la r\u00e9gion de l'Afrique de l'Est, et son exp\u00e9rience sera mise \u00e0 profit pour faire progresser les programmes de d\u00e9veloppement et de bonne gouvernance, conform\u00e9ment aux aspirations des pays de la r\u00e9gion \u00e0 renforcer la coop\u00e9ration transfrontali\u00e8re.<\/p>\n

L'Afrique de l'Ouest est repr\u00e9sent\u00e9e par un deuxi\u00e8me d\u00e9put\u00e9.<\/h3>\n

Le poste de deuxi\u00e8me vice-pr\u00e9sidente a \u00e9t\u00e9 attribu\u00e9 \u00e0 la d\u00e9put\u00e9e Zanetor Agyeman Rawlings, repr\u00e9sentant l'Afrique de l'Ouest. Sa nomination t\u00e9moigne d'une pr\u00e9sence f\u00e9minine importante au sein de la direction du Parlement et envoie un message de soutien \u00e0 la participation des femmes \u00e0 la prise de d\u00e9cision continentale.<\/p>\n

Afrique centrale dans le troisi\u00e8me d\u00e9put\u00e9<\/h3>\n

Le d\u00e9put\u00e9 Djida Mamar Mahamat a \u00e9t\u00e9 nomm\u00e9 troisi\u00e8me vice-pr\u00e9sident du Parlement panafricain pour la r\u00e9gion de l'Afrique centrale, une d\u00e9cision qui renforce la pr\u00e9sence de la r\u00e9gion dans les cercles d\u00e9cisionnels parlementaires au niveau continental.<\/p>\n

L'Afrique du Sud compl\u00e8te le tableau des leaders<\/h3>\n

La mise en place de ce bureau a \u00e9t\u00e9 compl\u00e9t\u00e9e par la nomination de la d\u00e9put\u00e9e Arlete da Visitacao au poste de quatri\u00e8me vice-pr\u00e9sidente, repr\u00e9sentant la r\u00e9gion de l'Afrique australe, compl\u00e9tant ainsi la repr\u00e9sentation g\u00e9ographique au sein de la direction du Parlement.<\/p>\n

Un \u00e9quilibre r\u00e9gional pour faire progresser le programme d'int\u00e9gration<\/h3>\n

Cette formation refl\u00e8te la philosophie du Parlement qui consiste \u00e0 r\u00e9partir les responsabilit\u00e9s selon les r\u00e9gions, afin de garantir une vision globale lors des discussions sur les questions de paix et de s\u00e9curit\u00e9, de d\u00e9veloppement durable et d'int\u00e9gration \u00e9conomique.<\/p>\n
