Le pr\u00e9sident k\u00e9nyan a ajout\u00e9 : \u201c Gr\u00e2ce au Fonds national pour les infrastructures, le nord du Kenya deviendra la principale cible des investissements \u00e0 grande \u00e9chelle dans l'irrigation pour la production alimentaire, car la r\u00e9gion dispose de vastes terres et de sols fertiles. \u201d.<\/p>\n

Dans le m\u00eame temps, la r\u00e9gion a besoin d'un d\u00e9veloppement massif de ses infrastructures routi\u00e8res et a\u00e9roportuaires, notamment la route Isolo-Mandera de 750 kilom\u00e8tres de long, d\u00e9j\u00e0 en construction, selon le pr\u00e9sident k\u00e9nyan.<\/p>\n

Soutenir l'\u00e9ducation au Kenya<\/h3>\n

Plus t\u00f4t dans la journ\u00e9e, le pr\u00e9sident k\u00e9nyan William Ruto a ordonn\u00e9 au ministre de l'\u00c9ducation, Julius Ogamba, de verser imm\u00e9diatement tous les fonds allou\u00e9s au deuxi\u00e8me trimestre \u00e0 toutes les \u00e9coles publiques avant le d\u00e9but officiel de ce deuxi\u00e8me trimestre.<\/p>\n

Les directives du pr\u00e9sident k\u00e9nyan visent \u00e0 garantir le bon fonctionnement du syst\u00e8me \u00e9ducatif du pays, exempt de tout obstacle financier susceptible de le perturber. Dans son discours, Ruto a soulign\u00e9 l'engagement de son gouvernement \u00e0 assurer aux \u00e9coles le versement en temps voulu des fonds qui leur sont allou\u00e9s afin de faciliter le processus \u00e9ducatif.<\/p>\n

Lors de son discours prononc\u00e9 vendredi 17 avril au palais pr\u00e9sidentiel de Nairobi \u00e0 l'occasion du Festival national de th\u00e9\u00e2tre, le pr\u00e9sident du Kenya a ordonn\u00e9 au minist\u00e8re de l'\u00c9ducation de veiller \u00e0 ce que l'int\u00e9gralit\u00e9 des fonds allou\u00e9s pour le second trimestre, soit 23 milliards de shillings kenyans, soit transf\u00e9r\u00e9e \u00e0 toutes les \u00e9coles avant la semaine prochaine, en vue de la r\u00e9ouverture des \u00e9tablissements scolaires.<\/p>\n

Le ministre de l\u2019\u00c9ducation est pr\u00e9sent et il sera charg\u00e9 de s\u2019assurer que les 23\u00a0milliards de shillings k\u00e9nyans destin\u00e9s aux indemnit\u00e9s financi\u00e8res parviennent \u00e0 temps avant la rentr\u00e9e.
