Le pr\u00e9sident k\u00e9nyan William Ruto a ordonn\u00e9 au ministre de l'\u00c9ducation, Julius Ogamba, de verser imm\u00e9diatement \u00e0 toutes les \u00e9coles publiques la totalit\u00e9 des fonds allou\u00e9s pour le second trimestre, avant m\u00eame le d\u00e9but officiel de ce dernier.<\/p>\n

Les directives du pr\u00e9sident k\u00e9nyan visent \u00e0 garantir le bon d\u00e9roulement du processus \u00e9ducatif dans le pays, sans obstacles financiers susceptibles de l'affecter n\u00e9gativement.<\/p>\n

Lors de son discours prononc\u00e9 vendredi 17 avril au palais pr\u00e9sidentiel de Nairobi \u00e0 l'occasion du Festival national de th\u00e9\u00e2tre, le pr\u00e9sident du Kenya a ordonn\u00e9 au minist\u00e8re de l'\u00c9ducation de veiller \u00e0 ce que l'int\u00e9gralit\u00e9 des fonds allou\u00e9s pour le second trimestre, soit 23 milliards de shillings kenyans, soit transf\u00e9r\u00e9e \u00e0 toutes les \u00e9coles avant la semaine prochaine, en vue de la r\u00e9ouverture des \u00e9tablissements scolaires.<\/p>\n

Dans son discours, Ruto a soulign\u00e9 que son administration s'engageait \u00e0 faire en sorte que les \u00e9coles re\u00e7oivent leurs allocations financi\u00e8res en temps voulu afin de faciliter le processus \u00e9ducatif.<\/p>\n

Le pr\u00e9sident k\u00e9nyan a ajout\u00e9 : \u2019 Comme l'an dernier, nous avons veill\u00e9 \u00e0 ce que les fonds allou\u00e9s aux allocations financi\u00e8res arrivent avant le d\u00e9but de l'ann\u00e9e scolaire. \u2019.<\/p>\n

Il a poursuivi\u00a0: \u201c\u00a0Le ministre de l\u2019\u00c9ducation est pr\u00e9sent et il veillera \u00e0 ce que les 23\u00a0milliards de shillings kenyans allou\u00e9s \u00e0 l\u2019aide financi\u00e8re arrivent \u00e0 temps avant le d\u00e9but de l\u2019ann\u00e9e scolaire.\u00a0\u201d.<\/p>\n

Selon des m\u00e9dias locaux k\u00e9nyans, des directeurs d'\u00e9cole ont d\u00e9j\u00e0 d\u00fb subir les cons\u00e9quences de retards dans le versement des allocations gouvernementales, malgr\u00e9 des assurances similaires de la part du gouvernement.<\/p>\n

En janvier de cette ann\u00e9e, Ndende Nyoro, d\u00e9put\u00e9 k\u00e9nyan de la circonscription de Kiharu, a \u00e9t\u00e9 contraint de menacer le gouvernement de manifestations \u00e0 l'\u00e9chelle nationale apr\u00e8s que celui-ci a retard\u00e9 le versement des fonds destin\u00e9s aux \u00e9tudiants.<\/p>\n

Les \u00e9l\u00e8ves kenyans devraient reprendre leurs cours pour le deuxi\u00e8me semestre le 27 avril, conform\u00e9ment au calendrier scolaire. Ce semestre durera 14 semaines et se terminera le 31 juillet 2026. S'ensuivront trois semaines de vacances, du 3 au 21 ao\u00fbt 2026.<\/p>\n

Dates des examens au Kenya<\/h3>\n

Selon le gouvernement k\u00e9nyan, les vacances de mi-trimestre sont \u00e9galement pr\u00e9vues entre le 24 et le 28 juin 2026. Les \u00e9coles rouvriront pour le troisi\u00e8me et dernier trimestre, crucial, le 24 ao\u00fbt 2026 et fermeront le 23 octobre 2026, apr\u00e8s neuf semaines d'\u00e9tudes.<\/p>\n

Les examens se d\u00e9rouleront ensuite imm\u00e9diatement apr\u00e8s, \u00e0 partir du 26 octobre 2026, pour tous les niveaux du nouveau programme d'enseignement ax\u00e9 sur les comp\u00e9tences. Les examens d'\u00e9valuation des \u00e9coles primaires du Kenya (KPSEA) commenceront le 26 octobre 2026 et se termineront le 29 octobre, tandis que les examens d'\u00e9valuation des \u00e9coles juniors du Kenya (KILEA et KJSEA) d\u00e9buteront \u00e0 la m\u00eame date.<\/p>\n
