Expansion rapide en deux ans<\/h1>\n

Selon des responsables du minist\u00e8re russe des Affaires \u00e9trang\u00e8res, l'ambassade des Comores devrait ouvrir ses portes en septembre, tandis que celles du Togo et de la Gambie devraient ouvrir avant le d\u00e9but de l'\u00e9t\u00e9.<\/p>\n

Cette expansion fait suite \u00e0 des mesures pr\u00e9c\u00e9dentes qui ont vu l'ouverture d'ambassades au Burkina Faso et en Guin\u00e9e \u00e9quatoriale en 2024, puis au Soudan du Sud, au Nig\u00e9ria et en Sierra Leone en 2025.<\/p>\n

La Russie cherche \u00e0 utiliser son r\u00e9seau diplomatique pour ouvrir des opportunit\u00e9s dans les secteurs minier, \u00e9nerg\u00e9tique et de la d\u00e9fense, des domaines dans lesquels elle a connu une activit\u00e9 remarquable ces derni\u00e8res ann\u00e9es, notamment gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 des partenariats et des accords de s\u00e9curit\u00e9 qui lui donnent acc\u00e8s aux ressources naturelles en \u00e9change d'un soutien militaire et technique.<\/p>\n

L'expansion de la Russie co\u00efncide avec une concurrence accrue avec les pays occidentaux et la Chine pour l'influence au sein des \u00e9conomies africaines en pleine croissance.<\/p>\n

Les donn\u00e9es officielles indiquent que les \u00e9changes commerciaux entre la Russie et les pays africains ont connu une croissance \u00e0 deux chiffres pour atteindre environ 27 milliards de dollars en 2024, signe d'une acc\u00e9l\u00e9ration de la coop\u00e9ration \u00e9conomique parall\u00e8lement \u00e0 l'expansion diplomatique.<\/p>\n

Pour les pays africains, la pr\u00e9sence de multiples puissances concurrentes repr\u00e9sente \u00e0 la fois des opportunit\u00e9s et des d\u00e9fis, et les gouvernements exploitent de plus en plus cette concurrence pour n\u00e9gocier de meilleurs accords, rechercher la valeur ajout\u00e9e locale et diversifier les partenariats dans divers secteurs, des mines \u00e0 la s\u00e9curit\u00e9.<\/p>\n
