Selon les m\u00e9dias locaux, le capitaine Ibrahim Traor\u00e9 a reconnu la difficult\u00e9 de changer les mentalit\u00e9s, compte tenu de l'endoctrinement qui perdure depuis des d\u00e9cennies\u00a0: \u201c\u00a0L'endoctrinement en Afrique est tr\u00e8s profond, et quoi qu'on en dise, de nombreux jeunes rejoignent ces mouvements terroristes au nom de la religion. Traor\u00e9 souligne que malgr\u00e9 ce contexte difficile, la lutte contre l'extr\u00e9misme violent ne peut \u00eatre abandonn\u00e9e, car de nombreux jeunes rejoignent des mouvements terroristes convaincus qu'il s'agit d'une question religieuse et que l'extr\u00e9misme est dangereux, ce qui attire les gens vers ce type de mouvement (terrorisme).<\/p>\n

Il a ajout\u00e9\u00a0: \u201c\u00a0On ne peut pas d\u00e9truire une base terroriste sans y trouver des textes coraniques. Nombreux sont ceux qui combattent sur le terrain et qui croient agir au nom de la religion. Des imams affluent de toutes parts pour pr\u00eacher dans la jungle, les endoctriner et les convaincre que leurs actions sont motiv\u00e9es par la religion et que les autres sont des infid\u00e8les qu\u2019il faut \u00e9liminer.\u00a0\u201d.<\/p>\n

La pr\u00e9sence d'individus extr\u00e9mistes dans les villes<\/h3>\n

Le capitaine Ibrahim Traor\u00e9 a \u00e9galement d\u00e9plor\u00e9 la pr\u00e9sence d'individus extr\u00e9mistes dans les villes, pr\u00eats \u00e0 tuer ceux qu'ils qualifient \u00e0 tort d'infid\u00e8les, persuad\u00e9s que ces actes leur ouvriront les portes du paradis. Ceci souligne le caract\u00e8re d\u00e9sastreux du discours religieux extr\u00e9miste sur nos soci\u00e9t\u00e9s.<\/p>\n

Il affirme toutefois que la publication de certaines images du front vise \u00e0 dissuader les gens en r\u00e9v\u00e9lant l'avenir incertain qui attend quiconque rejoint ces mouvements terroristes.<\/p>\n
