En novembre dernier, des groupes arm\u00e9s ont enlev\u00e9 25 \u00e9coli\u00e8res dans un \u00e9tablissement scolaire du nord-ouest du pays. L'une d'elles a r\u00e9ussi \u00e0 s'\u00e9chapper. Le m\u00eame mois, un autre enl\u00e8vement a eu lieu, selon Deutsche Welle. Cette fois-ci, des \u00e9l\u00e8ves chr\u00e9tiens ont \u00e9t\u00e9 pris pour cible\u00a0: des hommes arm\u00e9s ont kidnapp\u00e9 un grand nombre d'\u00e9l\u00e8ves et d'enseignants dans une \u00e9cole catholique.<\/p>\n

Daniel Atori, porte-parole de la branche de l'\u00c9tat du Niger de l'Association chr\u00e9tienne du Nigeria, a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 que des hommes arm\u00e9s ont pris d'assaut l'\u00e9cole St. Mary's dans le village de Babiri, district d'Agwara, et ont kidnapp\u00e9 215 \u00e9l\u00e8ves et \u00e9tudiants, ainsi que 12 enseignants.

Parall\u00e8lement, le secr\u00e9taire am\u00e9ricain \u00e0 la D\u00e9fense, Pete Hegseth, a exhort\u00e9 les autorit\u00e9s nig\u00e9rianes \u00e0 prendre des mesures urgentes pour mettre fin aux violences, lors de sa rencontre avec le conseiller \u00e0 la s\u00e9curit\u00e9 nationale du Nigeria, Noah Ribadu, selon un communiqu\u00e9 publi\u00e9 par le Pentagone.<\/p>\n

Dans ce contexte de mouvements et d'op\u00e9rations terroristes, les autorit\u00e9s nig\u00e9rianes ont ferm\u00e9 les \u00e9coles de plusieurs \u00c9tats, dont Katsina et Plateau, pendant plusieurs semaines en pr\u00e9vision d'\u00e9ventuelles attaques, et le gouvernement a plac\u00e9 les forces de s\u00e9curit\u00e9 en \u00e9tat d'alerte maximale.<\/p>\n
