Elle englobe de vastes plaines et des prairies naturelles qui abritent une riche biodiversit\u00e9 et sert d&#039;habitat \u00e0 l&#039;une des plus grandes migrations d&#039;animaux sauvages au monde. Cette r\u00e9gion repr\u00e9sente \u00e9galement une ressource naturelle et culturelle essentielle pour les communaut\u00e9s locales qui y vivent et d\u00e9pendent de ses ressources pour leurs activit\u00e9s traditionnelles.<\/p>\n<p>Cette candidature vise \u00e0 souligner l&#039;importance mondiale de la r\u00e9gion en mati\u00e8re de biodiversit\u00e9 et de conservation de la faune sauvage, ainsi que sa valeur culturelle et patrimoniale en tant qu&#039;\u00e9l\u00e9ment constitutif de l&#039;identit\u00e9 nationale du Soudan du Sud. Les autorit\u00e9s esp\u00e8rent que la reconnaissance internationale du site permettra de mobiliser un soutien accru en faveur de la protection et de la conservation de l&#039;environnement, compte
