Le pr\u00e9sident du Soudan du Sud, Salva Kiir, a effectu\u00e9 une visite sur le site du projet de construction J1 dans la capitale Juba afin d'examiner l'\u00e9tat d'avancement des travaux et d'\u00e9valuer le niveau de progr\u00e8s r\u00e9alis\u00e9 suite \u00e0 ses r\u00e9centes directives de reprise du projet apr\u00e8s une longue p\u00e9riode d'inactivit\u00e9.<\/p>\n

Cette visite s'inscrivait dans le cadre du suivi effectu\u00e9 par la Pr\u00e9sidence des projets strat\u00e9giques sur lesquels le gouvernement s'appuie pour renforcer les infrastructures et les institutions gouvernementales. Le Pr\u00e9sident a effectu\u00e9 une visite d'inspection sur le site, au cours de laquelle il a \u00e9t\u00e9 inform\u00e9 des diff\u00e9rentes \u00e9tapes de mise en \u0153uvre et des travaux en cours, r\u00e9cemment repris apr\u00e8s une interruption d'environ 18 mois.<\/p>\n

Le pr\u00e9sident \u00e9tait accompagn\u00e9 lors de cette visite par Marek Nanga Marek, administrateur en chef au minist\u00e8re des Affaires pr\u00e9sidentielles, et James Deng Wal, directeur ex\u00e9cutif au cabinet du pr\u00e9sident, charg\u00e9s de superviser la phase actuelle du projet et de suivre la mise en \u0153uvre du plan de travail intensif visant \u00e0 acc\u00e9l\u00e9rer son ach\u00e8vement dans les prochains mois.<\/p>\n

Lors de sa visite, le pr\u00e9sident Salva Kiir a entendu des expos\u00e9s techniques des responsables du projet concernant le pourcentage d'ach\u00e8vement et les difficult\u00e9s rencontr\u00e9es lors de la mise en \u0153uvre des travaux pendant la p\u00e9riode de suspension, ainsi que les mesures prises pour assurer l'ach\u00e8vement du projet conform\u00e9ment aux \u00e9ch\u00e9anciers pr\u00e9vus.<\/p>\n

Le Pr\u00e9sident a soulign\u00e9 l'importance d'acc\u00e9l\u00e9rer le rythme du projet, insistant sur la n\u00e9cessit\u00e9 de respecter les normes de qualit\u00e9 et d'efficacit\u00e9 afin d'en atteindre les objectifs. Il a \u00e9galement not\u00e9 que la reprise des travaux t\u00e9moigne de l'engagement du gouvernement \u00e0 poursuivre la mise en \u0153uvre de projets de d\u00e9veloppement essentiels qui contribuent au renforcement des institutions \u00e9tatiques et \u00e0 l'am\u00e9lioration des services offerts aux citoyens.<\/p>\n

Le projet J1 est consid\u00e9r\u00e9 comme l'un des projets importants qui b\u00e9n\u00e9ficient d'une attention directe de la part de la Pr\u00e9sidence, compte tenu de son r\u00f4le attendu dans le soutien des infrastructures gouvernementales et la fourniture d'installations modernes r\u00e9pondant aux besoins du travail institutionnel dans le pays.<\/p>\n
