Pr\u00e9paration Nigeria<\/a> Lancement de 10 000 tricycles \u00e9lectriques, une \u00e9tape importante pour r\u00e9duire les co\u00fbts et acc\u00e9l\u00e9rer l'adoption des \u00e9nergies propres.<\/p>\n

Ce lancement va bien au-del\u00e0 d'un simple service de transport ; il s'agit d'une tentative de repenser la mani\u00e8re dont les personnes, les biens et l'\u00e9nergie circulent dans la plus grande \u00e9conomie d'Afrique.<\/p>\n

Alors que nous envisageons le v\u00e9ritable lancement de ce projet, de nombreuses questions se posent quant \u00e0 la possibilit\u00e9 d'initier une r\u00e9volution dans le secteur des transports, de remodeler la vie urbaine et la logistique \u00e0 travers le Nigeria.<\/p>\n

Pol\u00e9mique autour du salaire minimum au Nig\u00e9ria<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Par ailleurs, les syndicats nig\u00e9rians ont annonc\u00e9 leur intention de rouvrir les n\u00e9gociations avec le gouvernement f\u00e9d\u00e9ral concernant le salaire minimum, affirmant que la structure salariale actuelle de 70\u00a0000 nairas n\u2019est plus suffisante pour soutenir les travailleurs nig\u00e9rians compte tenu de l\u2019inflation galopante et de la hausse du co\u00fbt de la vie.<\/p>\n

Le Congr\u00e8s du travail nig\u00e9rian (NLC) et le Congr\u00e8s des syndicats (TUC) ont d\u00e9voil\u00e9 cette mesure lors de la 114e Conf\u00e9rence internationale du travail \u00e0 Gen\u00e8ve, o\u00f9 ils ont conjointement appel\u00e9 \u00e0 la mise en \u0153uvre d'un \u201c salaire d\u00e9cent \u201d qui refl\u00e8te la r\u00e9alit\u00e9 \u00e9conomique actuelle du pays.<\/p>\n

Les syndicats se sont \u00e9galement engag\u00e9s \u00e0 r\u00e9sister \u00e0 toute tentative d'imposer des taxes sur le salaire minimum ou de faire peser des charges financi\u00e8res suppl\u00e9mentaires sur les personnes \u00e0 faibles revenus.<\/p>\n

Dans une d\u00e9claration commune, les syndicats ont expliqu\u00e9 que les travailleurs subissent une pression sans pr\u00e9c\u00e9dent en raison de l'inflation, de la d\u00e9valuation mon\u00e9taire et de la hausse des co\u00fbts de l'alimentation, des transports, du logement et des soins de sant\u00e9, mettant en garde contre une forte \u00e9rosion des revenus r\u00e9els.<\/p>\n

Les responsables syndicaux ont annonc\u00e9 que \u201c la loi actuelle expirera au d\u00e9but de l'ann\u00e9e prochaine et que les ren\u00e9gociations d\u00e9buteront en juillet 2026 afin d'\u00e9viter les retards p\u00e9nibles que nous avons subis par le pass\u00e9. Une fois le gouvernement parti, nous lui \u00e9crirons \u00e0 nouveau pour exiger le lancement du processus de ren\u00e9gociation du salaire minimum national. \u201d.<\/p>\n

Il convient de noter que le salaire minimum actuel au Nig\u00e9ria, qui est de 70\u00a0000 nairas, a \u00e9t\u00e9 approuv\u00e9 en juillet 2024, \u00e0 la suite de n\u00e9gociations entre les syndicats et le gouvernement f\u00e9d\u00e9ral.<\/p>\n

Alors que l\u2019accord pr\u00e9voyait initialement une r\u00e9vision des salaires tous les trois ans, le gouvernement a par la suite travaill\u00e9 \u00e0 modifier le cadre, r\u00e9duisant le cycle de r\u00e9vision \u00e0 deux ans, ce qui a pour effet d\u2019avancer la date de la prochaine n\u00e9gociation \u00e0 2026.<\/p>\n

Les dirigeants syndicaux ont soulign\u00e9 que les n\u00e9gociations \u00e0 venir ne devraient pas se limiter \u00e0 des augmentations salariales nominales, mais devraient viser \u00e0 garantir aux travailleurs des salaires ad\u00e9quats pour faire face \u00e0 la d\u00e9t\u00e9rioration de la situation \u00e9conomique du pays.<\/p>\n

Les syndicats ont d\u00e9clar\u00e9 : \u201c Nous exigeons rien de moins qu'un salaire d\u00e9cent qui refl\u00e8te la dure r\u00e9alit\u00e9 \u00e9conomique d'aujourd'hui. \u00bb.<\/p>\n

Nous exigeons \u00e9galement des mesures d'aide imm\u00e9diates de la part des gouvernements \u00e0 tous les niveaux jusqu'\u00e0 l'adoption d'une nouvelle loi sur le salaire minimum, et nous rejetons cat\u00e9goriquement toute tentative d'imposer des taxes sur le salaire minimum ou de faire peser des charges suppl\u00e9mentaires sur les plus d\u00e9munis.<\/p>\n

Le mouvement syndical a averti que tout retard dans le d\u00e9but des n\u00e9gociations pourrait entra\u00eener une escalade des tensions sociales, soulignant que les travailleurs souffrent d\u00e9j\u00e0 des cons\u00e9quences de la hausse des prix et de la baisse du pouvoir d'achat.<\/p>\n
