Elle a \u00e9galement mis en avant le r\u00f4le crucial de la banque dans la promotion du commerce intra-africain, le soutien \u00e0 la mise en \u0153uvre de la Zone de libre-\u00e9change continentale africaine (ZLECAf) et le d\u00e9veloppement de plateformes et de solutions transformatrices favorisant l&#039;int\u00e9gration r\u00e9gionale et la r\u00e9silience \u00e9conomique.<\/p>\n<p>La notation refl\u00e8te \u00e9galement la croissance soutenue de la banque et l&#039;augmentation de ses fonds propres. L&#039;agence a not\u00e9 que le total des actifs de la banque est pass\u00e9 de 7,1 milliards de dollars \u00e0 42,3 milliards de dollars entre 2015 et 2025, gr\u00e2ce notamment \u00e0 une hausse des capitaux propres, qui sont pass\u00e9s de 1,3 milliard de dollars \u00e0 8,4 milliards de dollars.<\/p>\n<p>Commentant cette notation, le Dr George Elumbe, pr\u00e9sident-directeur g\u00e9n\u00e9ral d&#039;Afreximbank, a d\u00e9clar\u00e9\u00a0: \u00ab\u00a0Cette notation confirme la solidit\u00e9 financi\u00e8re, la stabilit\u00e9 et la cr\u00e9dibilit\u00e9 internationale d&#039;Afreximbank, et reconna\u00eet clairement son importance strat\u00e9gique et son influence en Afrique et sur le march\u00e9 mondial. Elle refl\u00e8te la solidit\u00e9 de ses fonds propres, sa forte liquidit\u00e9, la qualit\u00e9 de ses actifs et, surtout, la confiance ind\u00e9fectible que les pays et les autorit\u00e9s africaines lui accordent.\u00a0\u00bb.<\/p>\n<p>Les \u00e9v\u00e9nements de ces derni\u00e8res ann\u00e9es, et notamment des deux derni\u00e8res, soulignent une le\u00e7on essentielle\u00a0: de m\u00eame que l\u2019Afrique n\u2019a pas obtenu son ind\u00e9pendance sans lutte, sa transformation \u00e9conomique ne lui sera pas offerte sur un plateau. Elle exige au contraire une action consciente, audacieuse, courageuse et d\u00e9cisive de la part du continent lui-m\u00eame, en collaboration avec sa diaspora.<\/p>\n<h2>En r\u00e9ponse \u00e0 des chocs externes majeurs<\/h2>\n<p>L\u2019agence a \u00e9galement soulign\u00e9 le r\u00f4le de la banque dans la r\u00e9ponse aux chocs externes majeurs affectant les \u00e9conomies africaines, notamment son soutien lors de la crise financi\u00e8re mondiale, de la chute des prix des mati\u00e8res premi\u00e8res, de la pand\u00e9mie de COVID-19, du conflit russo-ukrainien et d\u2019autres p\u00e9riodes de forte incertitude mondiale. Dans ce contexte, la banque a r\u00e9cemment annonc\u00e9 un programme de r\u00e9ponse \u00e0 la crise du Golfe dot\u00e9 de 10 milliards de dollars afin de prot\u00e9ger les \u00e9conomies africaines et carib\u00e9ennes des r\u00e9percussions du conflit au Moyen-Orient.<\/p>\n<p>La Banque a continu\u00e9 de renforcer les syst\u00e8mes n\u00e9cessaires au soutien du commerce et des investissements africains, notamment le Syst\u00e8me africain de paiements et de r\u00e8glements, le Portail commercial africain, le Fonds d\u2019adaptation de l\u2019Accord de libre-\u00e9change continental africain, ainsi que les m\u00e9canismes de financement du commerce, le financement de projets, le soutien institutionnel et les services de conseil.<\/p>\n<p>La perspective stable refl\u00e8te l&#039;\u00e9valuation par Standard &amp; Poor&#039;s du r\u00f4le accru d&#039;Afreximbank en tant que pr\u00eateur contracyclique en Afrique, du soutien continu des actionnaires et des augmentations
