Au c\u0153ur du d\u00e9bat actuel au sein Grande-Bretagne<\/strong><\/a> Concernant le droit au logement social et la distribution des ressources aux personnes dans le besoin, le nom de la Premi\u00e8re dame de Sierra Leone, Fatima Maada Bio, est apparu dans une affaire qui a suscit\u00e9 de vives r\u00e9actions et de nombreuses questions sur les crit\u00e8res de r\u00e9sidence et la transparence.<\/p>\n

Pol\u00e9mique grandissante autour de l'appartement londonien de la Premi\u00e8re dame de Sierra Leone<\/h2>\n

Alors que les accusations et les critiques se multiplient \u00e0 Londres et \u00e0 Freetown, la Premi\u00e8re dame maintient sa position, niant toute malversation, dans une sc\u00e8ne qui refl\u00e8te des complexit\u00e9s qui d\u00e9passent le cadre de la propri\u00e9t\u00e9 pour toucher \u00e0 des dimensions politiques et sociales plus profondes.<\/p>\n

La Premi\u00e8re Dame de Sierra Leone, Fatima Maada Bio, a cat\u00e9goriquement rejet\u00e9 une d\u00e9cision du Conseil de Southwark concernant un bien immobilier municipal qui lui est li\u00e9, dans un contexte de pol\u00e9mique croissante sur son droit de continuer \u00e0 occuper cet appartement.<\/p>\n

Dans un message publi\u00e9 sur Facebook, Mme Bayo, dont le cas fait l'objet d'une enqu\u00eate depuis l'ann\u00e9e derni\u00e8re concernant ses liens continus avec l'appartement du conseil municipal, a lanc\u00e9 une attaque cinglante, remettant en question la v\u00e9racit\u00e9 des informations qui circulent \u00e0 son sujet.<\/p>\n

Elle a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 : \u00ab Comment peut-on expulser quelqu'un qui n'habite pas le logement ? La r\u00e9siliation du contrat se fait par consentement mutuel, avec l'accord et la signature des deux parties \u00bb, consid\u00e9rant les informations qui circulent comme \u201c anciennes et fabriqu\u00e9es \u201d par ses d\u00e9tracteurs dans le but de la discr\u00e9diter.<\/p>\n

Son attachement persistant \u00e0 cet appartement a suscit\u00e9 l'indignation de certains dirigeants de la communaut\u00e9 britannique et de plusieurs critiques en Sierra Leone, qui estimaient qu'elle aurait d\u00fb quitter les lieux il y a des ann\u00e9es, une fois qu'elle n'en avait plus besoin.<\/p>\n

Pour sa part, Bayo a expliqu\u00e9 dans une interview accord\u00e9e \u00e0 la British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) qu'elle avait cherch\u00e9 refuge en Grande-Bretagne pour \u00e9chapper \u00e0 un mariage arrang\u00e9 d'enfant, et que l'appartement lui avait \u00e9t\u00e9 attribu\u00e9 pendant son s\u00e9jour dans le pays.<\/p>\n

Elle a ajout\u00e9 qu'apr\u00e8s l'\u00e9lection de son mari \u00e0 la pr\u00e9sidence de la Sierra Leone, ses enfants, qui poss\u00e8dent la nationalit\u00e9 britannique, vivaient dans l'appartement situ\u00e9 dans le sud de Londres.<\/p>\n

La Premi\u00e8re Dame a confirm\u00e9 qu'elle n'avait commis aucune infraction, pr\u00e9cisant qu'elle prenait en charge les frais d'h\u00e9bergement et n'avait donc pas enfreint la loi, selon elle.<\/p>\n

On constate qu'environ 18 000 personnes sont sur liste d'attente pour un logement dans ce quartier du sud de Londres, o\u00f9 de nombreux r\u00e9sidents attendent un logement depuis de nombreuses ann\u00e9es.<\/p>\n
