L'Autorit\u00e9 \u00e9thiopienne du caf\u00e9 et du th\u00e9 (ECTA) a annonc\u00e9 qu'elle s'effor\u00e7ait d'acc\u00e9l\u00e9rer ses efforts pour rendre Ethiopie<\/a> Deuxi\u00e8me producteur mondial de caf\u00e9 apr\u00e8s le Br\u00e9sil, gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 la modernisation du secteur, \u00e0 l'augmentation de la productivit\u00e9 et au d\u00e9veloppement de l'utilisation des technologies modernes.<\/p>\n

Le directeur g\u00e9n\u00e9ral adjoint et chef du secteur du d\u00e9veloppement du caf\u00e9, du th\u00e9 et des \u00e9pices au sein de l'Autorit\u00e9, Tagai Nuru, a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 que l'Autorit\u00e9 coop\u00e8re avec des instituts de recherche pour d\u00e9velopper la production et m\u00e9caniser la culture du caf\u00e9, notant qu'elle a obtenu 47 vari\u00e9t\u00e9s de caf\u00e9 r\u00e9sistantes \u00e0 la s\u00e9cheresse et aux maladies dans le but de renouveler les exploitations et de remplacer les vieux arbres par des vari\u00e9t\u00e9s plus productives et r\u00e9sistantes.<\/p>\n

Il a expliqu\u00e9 que la transition vers une agriculture m\u00e9canis\u00e9e est l'un des principaux piliers de la r\u00e9alisation des objectifs de production du pays, notant que l'Autorit\u00e9 a allou\u00e9 des terres et fourni des facilit\u00e9s de cr\u00e9dit, en plus d'exon\u00e9rations fiscales sur l'importation de mat\u00e9riel agricole au profit de 100 grands exportateurs de caf\u00e9.<\/p>\n

Il a soulign\u00e9 que la production moyenne de caf\u00e9 en \u00c9thiopie est actuellement d'environ 10 quintaux par hectare, mais que l'exp\u00e9rience du groupe d'agriculteurs mod\u00e8les \u201c Kirshashi \u201d a d\u00e9montr\u00e9 la possibilit\u00e9 d'augmenter la productivit\u00e9 \u00e0 62 quintaux par hectare gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 des m\u00e9thodes agricoles m\u00e9canis\u00e9es modernes.<\/p>\n

Accord pour le d\u00e9veloppement de projets de logement en \u00c9thiopie<\/h2>\n

Dans un autre contexte, le gouvernement de l'\u00c9tat d'\u00c9quatoria-Central et la Soci\u00e9t\u00e9 f\u00e9d\u00e9rale du logement d'\u00c9thiopie ont sign\u00e9 un accord de partenariat strat\u00e9gique dans le domaine du d\u00e9veloppement du logement lors d'une c\u00e9r\u00e9monie officielle qui s'est tenue dans la capitale, Juba, dans le but de promouvoir le d\u00e9veloppement urbain et d'\u00e9tendre les infrastructures et les projets de logement dans l'\u00c9tat.<\/p>\n

Le gouverneur de l'\u00c9tat d'\u00c9quatoria-Central, Emmanuel Adil Anthony, a confirm\u00e9 que cet accord s'inscrit dans la vision de son gouvernement visant \u00e0 apporter une transformation qualitative au d\u00e9veloppement urbain de la ville de Juba, soulignant que les relations historiques entre le Soudan du Sud et l'\u00c9thiopie constituent une base solide pour ce nouveau partenariat.<\/p>\n

Le gouverneur a expliqu\u00e9 que le gouvernement de l'\u00c9tat s'engageait \u00e0 entamer imm\u00e9diatement la mise en \u0153uvre des projets de logements convenus, ce qui contribuera \u00e0 r\u00e9pondre \u00e0 la demande croissante de logements et \u00e0 am\u00e9liorer l'am\u00e9nagement urbain.<\/p>\n

Pour sa part, le PDG de la Soci\u00e9t\u00e9 f\u00e9d\u00e9rale \u00e9thiopienne du logement, Rashid Kemal, a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 que le partenariat ne se limitait pas aux seuls travaux de construction, mais comprenait \u00e9galement le soutien au d\u00e9veloppement urbain durable par le transfert d'expertise technique et de technologies modernes n\u00e9cessaires \u00e0 la mise en \u0153uvre du projet.<\/p>\n

Il a ajout\u00e9 que la premi\u00e8re phase d\u00e9butera dans l'\u00c9tat d'\u00c9quatoria-Central et s'\u00e9tendra par la suite \u00e0 d'autres villes et r\u00e9gions du Sud-Soudan.<\/p>\n

L'accord vise \u00e0 renforcer la coop\u00e9ration directe entre les deux parties dans les domaines des infrastructures et du logement, afin de suivre le rythme de l'expansion urbaine rapide de Juba et de r\u00e9pondre aux besoins d'un d\u00e9veloppement urbain organis\u00e9, tout en revitalisant le secteur immobilier et d'investissement de l'\u00c9tat.<\/p>\n
