La R\u00e9publique est entr\u00e9e \u00a0Congo<\/a> La d\u00e9mocratie se trouve dans un contexte politique extr\u00eamement sensible apr\u00e8s les violents affrontements qui ont \u00e9clat\u00e9 dans la capitale, Kinshasa, entre les forces de s\u00e9curit\u00e9 et les manifestants de l'opposition, protestant contre ce que les forces d'opposition d\u00e9crivent comme des tentatives visant \u00e0 ouvrir la voie au maintien au pouvoir du pr\u00e9sident F\u00e9lix Tshisekedi pour un troisi\u00e8me mandat gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 un amendement constitutionnel controvers\u00e9.<\/p>\n

Ces \u00e9v\u00e9nements surviennent \u00e0 un moment o\u00f9 le pays est confront\u00e9 \u00e0 des crises s\u00e9curitaires et \u00e9conomiques croissantes, faisant craindre une escalade des troubles politiques.<\/p>\n

Manifestations et affrontements de masse devant le Parlement<\/h2>\n

La zone entourant le parlement \u00e0 Kinshasa a \u00e9t\u00e9 le th\u00e9\u00e2tre de grands rassemblements appel\u00e9s par la \u201c Coalition Article 64 \u201d (C64), une alliance qui comprend les figures les plus importantes de l'opposition congolaise, en rejet des propositions constitutionnelles que l'opposition consid\u00e8re comme une tentative de contourner les restrictions constitutionnelles sur le nombre de mandats pr\u00e9sidentiels.<\/p>\n

Les manifestations ont rapidement d\u00e9g\u00e9n\u00e9r\u00e9 en affrontements apr\u00e8s l'intervention des forces de s\u00e9curit\u00e9 qui ont dispers\u00e9 les manifestants \u00e0 l'aide de gaz lacrymog\u00e8nes, tandis que des t\u00e9moins ont fait \u00e9tat d'affrontements entre partisans et opposants au gouvernement.<\/p>\n

La blessure de Martin Fayulo et les tensions croissantes<\/h2>\n

L'un des \u00e9v\u00e9nements les plus marquants qui a d\u00e9clench\u00e9 la vague de col\u00e8re publique a \u00e9t\u00e9 la blessure de Martin Fayulu, figure de proue de l'opposition, lors des manifestations.<\/p>\n

Des images vid\u00e9o ont montr\u00e9 Fayulu, la t\u00eate ensanglant\u00e9e, emport\u00e9 par ses partisans, tandis que des figures de l'opposition ont confirm\u00e9 que plusieurs dirigeants politiques et manifestants avaient \u00e9t\u00e9 bless\u00e9s lors des affrontements.<\/p>\n

Certaines sources de l'opposition ont \u00e9galement fait \u00e9tat de victimes parmi les manifestants, tandis que les autorit\u00e9s n'ont pas encore publi\u00e9 de bilan officiel d\u00e9finitif.<\/p>\n

Une controverse constitutionnelle menace la stabilit\u00e9<\/h2>\n

La Constitution congolaise actuelle impose des restrictions strictes emp\u00eachant la modification des articles relatifs \u00e0 la dur\u00e9e et au nombre de mandats pr\u00e9sidentiels. Cependant, un projet de loi en discussion ouvre la voie \u00e0 des amendements constitutionnels en cas de \u201d dysfonctionnement majeur des institutions de l\u2019\u00c9tat \u201d, ce que l\u2019opposition consid\u00e8re comme un moyen l\u00e9gal de r\u00e9former les r\u00e8gles d\u2019\u00e9ligibilit\u00e9 \u00e0 la pr\u00e9sidence.<\/p>\n

Le pr\u00e9sident Tshisekedi a d\u00e9j\u00e0 laiss\u00e9 entendre qu'il serait pr\u00eat \u00e0 se repr\u00e9senter s'il obtenait le soutien populaire par r\u00e9f\u00e9rendum.<\/p>\n

Craintes d'une escalade plus importante de la crise<\/h2>\n

Ces d\u00e9veloppements surviennent alors que la R\u00e9publique d\u00e9mocratique du Congo est confront\u00e9e \u00e0 de graves d\u00e9fis s\u00e9curitaires, notamment l'escalade des attaques du mouvement arm\u00e9 M23 dans l'est du pays, ainsi qu'\u00e0 une aggravation des crises \u00e9conomiques et sanitaires.<\/p>\n
