Le Premier ministre du Royaume d'Eswatini, Russell Miso Dlamini<\/a>Des progr\u00e8s significatifs ont \u00e9t\u00e9 r\u00e9alis\u00e9s dans la mise en \u0153uvre des projets agricoles financ\u00e9s par le Fonds de d\u00e9veloppement agricole d'Eswatini (EADF), lanc\u00e9 en novembre 2024 comme m\u00e9canisme de financement de relance pour acc\u00e9l\u00e9rer le Plan national d'investissement agricole (ENAIP).<\/p>\n

Lors d'une visite de terrain comprenant 3 projets agricoles, Dlamini a expliqu\u00e9 que le fonds avait r\u00e9ussi en peu de temps \u00e0 injecter plus de 42,7 millions de lilangeni dans des investissements strat\u00e9giques couvrant la production c\u00e9r\u00e9ali\u00e8re, l'\u00e9levage et les cha\u00eenes de valeur horticoles, ainsi qu'\u00e0 soutenir la m\u00e9canisation agricole et le d\u00e9veloppement des infrastructures, ce qui contribue \u00e0 accro\u00eetre la productivit\u00e9, \u00e0 r\u00e9duire les taux de pauvret\u00e9, \u00e0 cr\u00e9er des opportunit\u00e9s d'emploi et \u00e0 renforcer l'autosuffisance.<\/p>\n

3 projets illustrent l'impact direct de l'investissement<\/h2>\n

La visite comprenait un projet de production de ma\u00efs dans la r\u00e9gion de Secunosa, un projet de production de poules pondeuses \u00e0 Ngugan, ainsi qu'un projet d'engraissement de volailles \u00e0 Hlan, o\u00f9 ces mod\u00e8les refl\u00e9taient l'impact direct du financement agricole sur le soutien \u00e0 l'\u00e9conomie rurale.<\/p>\n

La visite comprenait la d\u00e9couverte de mod\u00e8les r\u00e9ussis, tels que le projet \u201c Agro-Akers \u201d, g\u00e9r\u00e9 par 4 fr\u00e8res de la famille Makhalif, sur une superficie de 80 hectares, avec un soutien d\u00e9passant 2,3 millions de lilangeni, refl\u00e9tant le grand potentiel de participation des jeunes dans le secteur agricole lorsque des financements et un soutien appropri\u00e9s sont disponibles.<\/p>\n

\u00c0 Ngugan, le projet de production d'\u0153ufs de Zoilitheni Felix Nkenchan, d'une capacit\u00e9 allant jusqu'\u00e0 1 000 poussins par cycle, a particuli\u00e8rement retenu l'attention, tandis que la visite s'est conclue par une visite de l'installation \u201c Emfehlo Yebesutfo \u201d \u00e0 Hlan, appartenant \u00e0 Mududozie Majagola, avec une capacit\u00e9 de production de 26 000 poussins de chair.<\/p>\n

Le Premier ministre a soulign\u00e9 que ces projets incarnent l\u2019impact transformateur des investissements agricoles en stimulant la production, en cr\u00e9ant des emplois et en favorisant le d\u00e9veloppement \u00e9conomique, notant leur ad\u00e9quation avec le quatri\u00e8me objectif du programme de travail du gouvernement, qui vise \u00e0 atteindre la souverainet\u00e9 alimentaire et le d\u00e9veloppement durable d\u2019ici \u00e0 2029.<\/p>\n

Plusieurs hauts responsables, dont le ministre de l'Agriculture par int\u00e9rim, Bongani Nzima, et la pr\u00e9sidente du S\u00e9nat, Lindiwe Dlamini, ainsi que des parlementaires, ont particip\u00e9 \u00e0 cette visite et ont \u00e9t\u00e9 inform\u00e9s des r\u00e9sultats des interventions gouvernementales en faveur des agriculteurs.<\/p>\n
