L'ambassade de la R\u00e9publique arabe d'\u00c9gypte \u00e0 Lusaka, la capitale, a particip\u00e9 aux \u00e9v\u00e9nements de la Journ\u00e9e de l'Afrique. Zambie<\/a> 2026, qui s'est tenue le 11\/06\/2026 au Haut-Commissariat de la R\u00e9publique du Malawi \u00e0 Lusaka.<\/p>\n

L'ambassadrice Mayada Essam, ambassadrice de la R\u00e9publique arabe d'\u00c9gypte aupr\u00e8s de la R\u00e9publique de Zambie, a prononc\u00e9 un discours de remerciements et d'appr\u00e9ciation au nom du groupe des ambassadeurs africains accr\u00e9dit\u00e9s en Zambie.<\/p>\n

Ce discours s\u2019appuyait sur le slogan de l\u2019Union africaine pour cette ann\u00e9e, \u201c Garantir un approvisionnement durable en eau et des syst\u00e8mes d\u2019assainissement s\u00fbrs pour r\u00e9aliser l\u2019Agenda 2063 \u00bb, et sur les efforts inlassables de l\u2019\u00c9gypte pour d\u00e9fendre les droits des Africains \u00e0 l\u2019eau.<\/p>\n

Cela comprenait l\u2019engagement de l\u2019\u00c9gypte \u00e0 accueillir chaque ann\u00e9e depuis 2018 la Semaine de l\u2019eau du Caire, qui devrait se tenir en octobre de cette ann\u00e9e.<\/p>\n

L\u2019attach\u00e9 d\u2019ambassade, Mahmoud Abdel Latif, s\u2019est \u00e9galement charg\u00e9 de pr\u00e9senter l\u2019\u00e9v\u00e9nement conjointement avec l\u2019ambassadeur adjoint du Zimbabwe, et l\u2019ambassade y a particip\u00e9 avec un stand pour exposer et pr\u00e9senter des plats \u00e9gyptiens c\u00e9l\u00e8bres.<\/p>\n

La nouvelle loi zambienne r\u00e9ussira-t-elle \u00e0 instaurer la gratuit\u00e9 de l'enseignement ?<\/h3>\n

La nouvelle loi fait de l'\u00e9ducation gratuite un droit l\u00e9gal, garantissant qu'aucun \u00e9l\u00e8ve ne se voie refuser une place dans une \u00e9cole publique en raison de son incapacit\u00e9 \u00e0 payer les frais de scolarit\u00e9.<\/p>\n

Dans un communiqu\u00e9, le pr\u00e9sident Hichilema a qualifi\u00e9 cette mesure de \u201c jour historique pour la Zambie \u201d, affirmant que la l\u00e9gislation garantit l'\u00e9ducation gratuite pour les g\u00e9n\u00e9rations futures et renforce la protection des travailleurs et des retrait\u00e9s gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 des r\u00e9formes plus larges contenues dans le m\u00eame projet de loi.<\/p>\n
