Dans un nouvel indicateur soulignant le recul des droits des travailleurs \u00e0 l'\u00e9chelle mondiale, la Conf\u00e9d\u00e9ration syndicale internationale (CSI) a plac\u00e9 le Zimbabwe sur sa \u201c liste noire \u00bb. Surveillance<\/strong><\/a>\u201dDans son rapport annuel sur l'Indice mondial des droits de l'homme pour 2026, le Zimbabwe figure dans ce classement, t\u00e9moignant de l'inqui\u00e9tude internationale croissante concernant les conditions de travail et la libert\u00e9 syndicale dans le pays. Ce classement intervient alors que se multiplient les accusations de d\u00e9gradation des garanties juridiques pour les travailleurs et que les restrictions de l'activit\u00e9 syndicale s'intensifient, notamment par des arrestations et des interdictions de manifestations, ce qui place le Zimbabwe sous une surveillance internationale accrue quant \u00e0 son respect des normes fondamentales en mati\u00e8re de droits du travail.<\/p>\n

La Conf\u00e9d\u00e9ration syndicale internationale met en garde contre l'escalade des abus en mati\u00e8re de droit du travail.<\/h3>\n

La liste de surveillance est le deuxi\u00e8me classement le plus d\u00e9favorable des pays en mati\u00e8re de violations des droits du travail, apr\u00e8s la liste des dix pays les plus r\u00e9pressifs. En 2026, la premi\u00e8re liste comprenait notamment l'Argentine, le B\u00e9larus, l'\u00c9quateur, l'Eswatini, le Myanmar, le Nig\u00e9ria, le Panama, la Tunisie et la Turquie.<\/p>\n

\"KENYA-POLITIQUE-TROUBLES\"<\/p>\n

Selon le rapport, le Zimbabwe figure parmi un groupe de sept pays, dont la Guin\u00e9e-Bissau, Isra\u00ebl, le Lib\u00e9ria, la Moldavie, les Philippines et les \u00c9tats-Unis, o\u00f9 les droits des travailleurs ont consid\u00e9rablement recul\u00e9, annulant les progr\u00e8s r\u00e9alis\u00e9s ces derni\u00e8res ann\u00e9es.<\/p>\n

La Conf\u00e9d\u00e9ration syndicale internationale a not\u00e9 que des cas d'arrestation et de d\u00e9tention arbitraires de membres de syndicats avaient \u00e9t\u00e9 enregistr\u00e9s au Zimbabwe, ainsi que des cas similaires en Angola et en R\u00e9publique d\u00e9mocratique du Congo.<\/p>\n

Le rapport note \u00e9galement que le Zimbabwe se classe cinqui\u00e8me, ce qui signifie \u201c aucune garantie de droits \u201d, depuis la cr\u00e9ation de l'indice en 2014, soulignant que le parti au pouvoir, l'Union nationale africaine du Zimbabwe-Front patriotique (ZANU-PF), cherche \u00e0 reporter les \u00e9lections de 2028 en prolongeant les mandats du pr\u00e9sident et du parlement.<\/p>\n

\"Manifestations<\/p>\n

Face au harc\u00e8lement et \u00e0 la r\u00e9pression continus dont sont victimes les travailleurs et les syndicats de la part de l'\u00c9tat, le rapport pr\u00e9vient que le classement du Zimbabwe risque de se d\u00e9grader encore davantage.<\/p>\n

Il a \u00e9galement d\u00e9nonc\u00e9 le d\u00e9tournement des pouvoirs l\u00e9gaux pour r\u00e9primer l'action collective et la dissidence, notamment le recours aux lois sur la surveillance num\u00e9rique.<\/p>\n

L'organisation a ajout\u00e9 que des dirigeants syndicaux du secteur de l'\u00e9ducation avaient \u00e9t\u00e9 arr\u00eat\u00e9s lors de gr\u00e8ves et de manifestations r\u00e9clamant de meilleures conditions de travail et de meilleurs salaires, notant que le gouvernement avait modifi\u00e9 la loi en 2025 pour permettre aux ministres de classer les syndicats de nature syndicale ou de d\u00e9fense des droits comme \u201c politiques \u201d ou \u201c \u00e0 haut risque \u201d, ce qui pourrait entra\u00eener leur radiation et les priver de financement international.<\/p>\n

\"ZIMBABWE-POLITIQUE-\u00c9CONOMIE-POLICE-MANIFESTATION\"<\/p>\n

Les pays sont class\u00e9s en groupes de 1 \u00e0 5+ selon leur engagement en faveur des droits collectifs des travailleurs, le groupe 1 repr\u00e9sentant le meilleur niveau et le groupe 5+ le pire. Les pays class\u00e9s en cat\u00e9gorie 5 offrent le pire environnement de travail, car les travailleurs n'y b\u00e9n\u00e9ficient pas des droits qui y sont stipul\u00e9s malgr\u00e9 l'existence de textes de loi, ce qui les expose \u00e0 des syst\u00e8mes de travail in\u00e9quitables et \u00e0 des pratiques r\u00e9pressives.<\/p>\n
