Cette semaine, le parti Pastef-Patriots tient sa premi\u00e8re conf\u00e9rence nationale depuis sa fondation en 2014, une \u00e9tape politique et organisationnelle importante visant \u00e0 tracer les contours de son avenir et \u00e0 d\u00e9finir son orientation \u00e0 la lumi\u00e8re des changements qui s'op\u00e8rent sur la sc\u00e8ne politique s\u00e9n\u00e9galaise.<\/p>\n

La capitale, Dakar, accueille la conf\u00e9rence, avec la participation de d\u00e9l\u00e9gu\u00e9s venus de diff\u00e9rentes r\u00e9gions du S\u00e9n\u00e9gal et des communaut\u00e9s s\u00e9n\u00e9galaises de l'\u00e9tranger.<\/p>\n

Les participants devraient discuter de la strat\u00e9gie politique du parti, renouveler ses structures de direction et d\u00e9terminer sa position dans le nouveau paysage politique du pays.<\/p>\n

La conf\u00e9rence se tient \u00e0 un moment o\u00f9 le parti est confront\u00e9 \u00e0 des d\u00e9fis internes li\u00e9s aux divergences de vues entre ses dirigeants les plus \u00e9minents, le pr\u00e9sident Basiru Diomae Faye et Ousman Sonko, concernant la gestion des affaires publiques et les m\u00e9canismes d'exercice du pouvoir.<\/p>\n

Pr\u00e9cision dans le choix du moment de la conf\u00e9rence<\/span><\/h2>\n

Les analystes estiment que la tenue de cette conf\u00e9rence a \u00e9t\u00e9 d\u00e9cid\u00e9e \u00e0 un moment crucial, quelques jours seulement apr\u00e8s la formation du nouveau gouvernement dirig\u00e9 par le Premier ministre Ahmadou Amine Mohamed Lo, un gouvernement auquel le parti PASTEF a choisi de ne pas participer malgr\u00e9 le fait qu'il disposait du plus grand bloc politique au sein de l'Assembl\u00e9e nationale.<\/p>\n

Ces \u00e9v\u00e9nements ont co\u00efncid\u00e9 avec des changements au sommet de la hi\u00e9rarchie du pouvoir, le pr\u00e9sident Basiru Diomae Faye ayant mis fin aux fonctions d'Ousmane Sonko en tant que Premier ministre le 22 mai, avant que ce dernier ne soit \u00e9lu quelques jours plus tard pr\u00e9sident de l'Assembl\u00e9e nationale, succ\u00e9dant \u00e0 Malik Ndiaye, qui avait d\u00e9missionn\u00e9.<\/p>\n

Ces bouleversements politiques ont mis en lumi\u00e8re les divergences entre les deux hommes concernant la gestion de l'\u00c9tat et l'organisation du pouvoir, malgr\u00e9 leur affirmation continue de leur affiliation au parti \u201c Pasteve \u201d.<\/p>\n

Formation du nouveau gouvernement<\/span><\/h3>\n

Suite \u00e0 l'annonce de la nouvelle composition du gouvernement, Osman Sonko a justifi\u00e9 la d\u00e9cision de son parti de ne pas rejoindre le pouvoir ex\u00e9cutif en \u00e9voquant des d\u00e9saccords avec le chef de l'\u00c9tat lors des consultations qui ont pr\u00e9c\u00e9d\u00e9 la formation du gouvernement, notamment concernant le r\u00f4le de la majorit\u00e9 parlementaire au sein du pouvoir ex\u00e9cutif et certaines des options politiques pr\u00e9sent\u00e9es.<\/p>\n

Dans des propos tenus mardi \u00e0 Dakar, Sonko a ni\u00e9 toute intention de confrontation institutionnelle avec le gouvernement.<\/p>\n

Il a confirm\u00e9 que le parti ne d\u00e9poserait pas de motion de censure \u00e0 son encontre. Il a \u00e9galement appel\u00e9 \u00e0 la poursuite du dialogue avec le pr\u00e9sident Basiru Diomae Faye et au maintien de la stabilit\u00e9 politique dans le pays.<\/p>\n

Les actes de cette conf\u00e9rence rev\u00eatent une importance particuli\u00e8re car ils constituent la premi\u00e8re \u00e9tape politique et organisationnelle majeure pour le parti depuis son arriv\u00e9e au pouvoir.
