Montr\u00e9al c\u00e9l\u00e8bre les quarante ans du festival \u201c Nuits \u00bb Afrique<\/strong><\/a> Le festival \u201d International \u00bb, devenu l\u2019un des \u00e9v\u00e9nements culturels les plus importants au monde, r\u00e9unissant les musiques d\u2019Afrique, des Cara\u00efbes et d\u2019Am\u00e9rique latine, incarne depuis de nombreuses ann\u00e9es un espace ouvert au dialogue artistique et aux \u00e9changes culturels au c\u0153ur du Canada.<\/p>\n

Le Festival des Nuits Africaines poursuit son succ\u00e8s \u00e0 Montr\u00e9al<\/h2>\n

Fond\u00e9 en 1987, le festival International Nights of Africa est devenu une plateforme majeure pour les artistes d'Afrique, des Cara\u00efbes et d'Am\u00e9rique latine.<\/p>\n

Au cours des quarante derni\u00e8res ann\u00e9es, le festival a permis au public de d\u00e9couvrir des talents confirm\u00e9s et \u00e9mergents, et a favoris\u00e9 le dialogue interculturel \u00e0 travers la musique, la danse et les arts du spectacle.<\/p>\n

Pour souligner cet anniversaire, les organisateurs ont pr\u00e9vu 13 jours de festivit\u00e9s dans plusieurs lieux de Montr\u00e9al et du Quartier des arts. Selon les statistiques publi\u00e9es par Tourisme Montr\u00e9al, plus de 700 artistes participeront \u00e0 travers huit s\u00e9ries de concerts, six salles de spectacle, deux th\u00e9\u00e2tres de plein air et plus de 150 \u00e9v\u00e9nements gratuits et payants.<\/p>\n

Le programme du festival 2026 met en vedette quelques-uns des artistes les plus influents de la musique africaine. La chanteuse malienne Oumou Sangar\u00e9, laur\u00e9ate d'un Grammy Award et reconnue internationalement pour son engagement en faveur des droits des femmes, sera la t\u00eate d'affiche du festival le 7 juillet au Centre M-Tillos. Le programme comprend \u00e9galement un concert hommage de Guin\u00e9e au groupe montr\u00e9alais Baobab du Nuit le 11 juillet, ainsi qu'une prestation du groupe alg\u00e9rien Labis le 12 juillet. Des artistes du S\u00e9n\u00e9gal, du B\u00e9nin, du Maroc, du Canada et de nombreux autres pays participeront \u00e9galement \u00e0 l'\u00e9v\u00e9nement.<\/p>\n

En plus des concerts en salle, le festival proposera du 14 au 19 juillet une programmation riche et vari\u00e9e d'activit\u00e9s gratuites en plein air. Les visiteurs pourront profiter des Nuits d'Afrique en plein air, d'ateliers de danse, du march\u00e9 de Tombouctou, d'un village d'enfants et de nombreux autres spectacles gratuits dans toute la ville. Ces activit\u00e9s t\u00e9moignent de l'engagement du festival \u00e0 rendre les cultures africaines et mondiales accessibles \u00e0 tous.<\/p>\n
