Le gouvernement a soulign\u00e9 que les d\u00e9c\u00e8s maternels et n\u00e9onatals ne constituent pas seulement une trag\u00e9die humaine, mais qu'ils fragilisent \u00e9galement la stabilit\u00e9 familiale et affaiblissent la structure socio-\u00e9conomique de l'\u00c9tat, insistant sur le fait que la protection de la sant\u00e9 maternelle et infantile repr\u00e9sente un investissement direct dans l'avenir du pays.<\/p>\n

Le plan comprend une initiative urgente de six mois, d\u00e9butant imm\u00e9diatement et se poursuivant jusqu'en novembre 2026, visant \u00e0 obtenir des r\u00e9sultats rapides et concrets en mati\u00e8re d'am\u00e9lioration des services de sant\u00e9 maternelle et n\u00e9onatale, en mettant l'accent sur les interventions prioritaires.<\/p>\n

Pour appuyer ces efforts, le minist\u00e8re des Finances a annonc\u00e9 l'allocation de 4 milliards de shillings kenyans suppl\u00e9mentaires \u00e0 l'Autorit\u00e9 sociale et sanitaire afin de couvrir les primes d'assurance maladie des femmes enceintes, leur garantissant ainsi des soins de sant\u00e9 s\u00fbrs et dignes.<\/p>\n

Un milliard de shillings kenyans suppl\u00e9mentaires seront allou\u00e9s \u00e0 l'Agence des fournitures m\u00e9dicales pour l'achat de fournitures essentielles \u00e0 la sant\u00e9 maternelle et n\u00e9onatale, en plus de 2,5 milliards de shillings destin\u00e9s \u00e0 soutenir les services de planification familiale.<\/p>\n

Recrutement et d\u00e9ploiement de 5000 infirmi\u00e8res<\/h2>\n

En mati\u00e8re de renforcement du personnel m\u00e9dical, le gouvernement pr\u00e9voit de recruter et de d\u00e9ployer 5\u00a0000 infirmi\u00e8res et sages-femmes \u00e0 travers le pays, dans le but de soutenir les services de soins de sant\u00e9 primaires et d\u2019\u00e9largir l\u2019acc\u00e8s \u00e0 des services de sant\u00e9 de qualit\u00e9 pour les m\u00e8res et les nouveau-n\u00e9s.<\/p>\n
