La R\u00e9publique arabe d'\u00c9gypte a envoy\u00e9 une cargaison d'aide m\u00e9dicale de 2,5 tonnes \u00e0 la R\u00e9publique d\u00e9mocratique du Congo, dans le cadre de son soutien aux efforts de lutte contre la propagation du virus. Ebola<\/a> Ce qui constitue une menace sanitaire r\u00e9gionale et continentale, selon les annonces faites jeudi par les autorit\u00e9s congolaises.<\/p>\n

Le chargement est arriv\u00e9 \u00e0 l'a\u00e9roport international N'Guili de Kinshasa, la capitale, o\u00f9 il a \u00e9t\u00e9 r\u00e9ceptionn\u00e9 en pr\u00e9sence du secr\u00e9taire g\u00e9n\u00e9ral du minist\u00e8re des Affaires sociales, de l'Action humanitaire et de la Solidarit\u00e9 nationale, Sylvain Yoma Ramazani, ainsi que d'un repr\u00e9sentant de l'ambassade d'\u00c9gypte en R\u00e9publique d\u00e9mocratique du Congo.<\/p>\n

Aide m\u00e9dicale \u00e9gyptienne au Congo pour lutter contre Ebola<\/h1>\n

L'aide comprend des m\u00e9dicaments et du mat\u00e9riel m\u00e9dical destin\u00e9s \u00e0 soutenir les \u00e9quipes sanitaires dans la lutte contre l'\u00e9pid\u00e9mie, qui se propage actuellement dans plusieurs r\u00e9gions de l'est du pays. Le responsable congolais a salu\u00e9 le soutien \u00e9gyptien, qualifiant l'\u00c9gypte de nation s\u0153ur et soulignant que cette assistance arrivait \u00e0 un moment crucial pour appuyer les efforts de lutte contre l'\u00e9pid\u00e9mie.<\/p>\n

Selon les autorit\u00e9s sanitaires de la R\u00e9publique d\u00e9mocratique du Congo, le virus Ebola s'est propag\u00e9 dans 13 zones sanitaires r\u00e9parties dans trois provinces de l'est : l'Ituri, principal \u00e9picentre de l'\u00e9pid\u00e9mie, ainsi que le Nord-Kivu et le Sud-Kivu.<\/p>\n

D\u00e8s r\u00e9ception du chargement, celui-ci a \u00e9t\u00e9 officiellement transf\u00e9r\u00e9 au Bureau de coordination de la riposte \u00e0 Ebola, o\u00f9 les autorit\u00e9s comp\u00e9tentes du minist\u00e8re de la Sant\u00e9 publique en ont pris la supervision technique, en vue de proc\u00e9der aux tests et proc\u00e9dures habituels d'aide m\u00e9dicale avant sa distribution dans les zones touch\u00e9es.<\/p>\n

L\u2019ambassadeur \u00e9gyptien \u00e0 Kinshasa, Hisham Abdel Salam Al-Maqoud, avait annonc\u00e9 quelques jours auparavant la fourniture de cette aide lors d\u2019une r\u00e9union de travail qu\u2019il avait tenue avec la ministre d\u2019\u00c9tat congolaise, Eve Bazaiba Masoudi, le directeur du cabinet du ministre de la Sant\u00e9 publique et le secr\u00e9taire g\u00e9n\u00e9ral aux Affaires humanitaires.<\/p>\n

D'apr\u00e8s les derniers chiffres publi\u00e9s par le minist\u00e8re congolais de la Sant\u00e9 au 26 mai, on d\u00e9nombrait 121 cas d'Ebola confirm\u00e9s en laboratoire, dont 17 d\u00e9c\u00e8s, ainsi que 1\u00a0077 cas suspects, dont 238 d\u00e9c\u00e8s. Les autorit\u00e9s ont \u00e9galement indiqu\u00e9 que plus de 2\u00a0200 personnes \u00e9taient sous observation m\u00e9dicale, des cas ayant \u00e9t\u00e9 signal\u00e9s dans 11 zones sanitaires, et que 133 personnes \u00e9taient isol\u00e9es dans des centres de sant\u00e9 sp\u00e9cialis\u00e9s pour y \u00eatre trait\u00e9es et suivies.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
