Confirm\u00e9 Ministre \u00e9gyptien des Affaires \u00e9trang\u00e8res<\/strong><\/a> Le Dr Badr Abdel-Aty et le ministre y\u00e9m\u00e9nite des Affaires \u00e9trang\u00e8res, Shaya Mohsen Al-Zindani, ont soulign\u00e9 dimanche la n\u00e9cessit\u00e9 d'adopter une approche globale de la s\u00e9curit\u00e9 de la mer Rouge, tandis que le Caire r\u00e9it\u00e9rait son rejet cat\u00e9gorique des tentatives d'internationalisation ou de militarisation de la mer Rouge et du golfe d'Aden, ainsi que de l'implication d'\u00c9tats c\u00f4tiers non adjacents dans les arrangements relatifs \u00e0 cette voie navigable strat\u00e9gique.<\/p>\n

L\u2019\u00c9gypte r\u00e9affirme son rejet de la militarisation de la mer Rouge lors des pourparlers du Caire avec le Y\u00e9men<\/h2>\n

Ces d\u00e9clarations ont \u00e9t\u00e9 faites lors du neuvi\u00e8me cycle du dialogue strat\u00e9gique \u00e9gypto-y\u00e9m\u00e9nite au Caire, pr\u00e9sid\u00e9 par Abdel-Aati et Al-Zindani, qui est \u00e9galement Premier ministre du Y\u00e9men.<\/p>\n

Selon le porte-parole du minist\u00e8re \u00e9gyptien des Affaires \u00e9trang\u00e8res, Tamim Khalaf, le ministre des Affaires \u00e9trang\u00e8res Abdel-Aty a soulign\u00e9 la fiert\u00e9 de l'\u00c9gypte quant aux relations historiques profondes entre les deux pays, les d\u00e9crivant comme un mod\u00e8le de relations fraternelles.<\/p>\n

Il a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 que la tenue de ce dialogue \u00e0 ce moment critique t\u00e9moigne de la volont\u00e9 des deux parties de coordonner leurs positions sur les crises r\u00e9gionales.<\/p>\n

Abdel-Aati a r\u00e9affirm\u00e9 le soutien du Caire \u00e0 l'unit\u00e9 et \u00e0 l'int\u00e9grit\u00e9 territoriale du Y\u00e9men, ainsi que le soutien continu de l'\u00c9gypte aux institutions nationales y\u00e9m\u00e9nites et au gouvernement internationalement reconnu, afin de les aider \u00e0 assumer leurs responsabilit\u00e9s et \u00e0 r\u00e9pondre aux aspirations du peuple y\u00e9m\u00e9nite. Il a \u00e9galement r\u00e9affirm\u00e9 le soutien de l'\u00c9gypte \u00e0 la reprise de n\u00e9gociations en vue d'un r\u00e8glement politique global sous l'\u00e9gide des Nations Unies.<\/p>\n

Dans ce contexte, le ministre \u00e9gyptien des Affaires \u00e9trang\u00e8res s\u2019est f\u00e9licit\u00e9 de l\u2019accord d\u2019\u00e9change de prisonniers r\u00e9cemment conclu sous les auspices des Nations Unies et avec le soutien de la Jordanie, exprimant la volont\u00e9 de l\u2019\u00c9gypte d\u2019apporter tout le soutien politique et diplomatique n\u00e9cessaire pour faire progresser les efforts de r\u00e8glement.<\/p>\n

L'\u00c9gypte rejette l'internationalisation de la mer Rouge lors de discussions de haut niveau avec le Y\u00e9men.<\/h2>\n

Les discussions ont \u00e9galement port\u00e9 sur l'\u00e9volution de la situation r\u00e9gionale, notamment sur les n\u00e9gociations en cours entre les \u00c9tats-Unis et l'Iran.<\/p>\n

Abdel-Aati a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 que l'\u00c9gypte esp\u00e8re que les efforts diplomatiques aboutiront \u00e0 un accord global qui r\u00e9ponde aux pr\u00e9occupations de toutes les parties, mette fin \u00e0 la guerre, jette les bases d'une paix et d'une s\u00e9curit\u00e9 durables dans la r\u00e9gion et emp\u00eache toute nouvelle escalade.<\/p>\n

Concernant la s\u00e9curit\u00e9 en mer Rouge, les deux parties se sont accord\u00e9es sur la n\u00e9cessit\u00e9 d'un cadre plus large int\u00e9grant les dimensions \u00e9conomiques et de d\u00e9veloppement, en plus des consid\u00e9rations s\u00e9curitaires des \u00c9tats riverains. Abdel-Aati a soulign\u00e9 l'importance d'acc\u00e9l\u00e9rer l'activation des m\u00e9canismes du Conseil des \u00c9tats arabes et africains riverains de la mer Rouge et du golfe d'Aden.<\/p>\n

Il a \u00e9galement pass\u00e9 en revue les efforts d\u00e9ploy\u00e9s par l\u2019\u00c9gypte pour renforcer les capacit\u00e9s nationales et institutionnelles des pays de la r\u00e9gion, notamment gr\u00e2ce au lancement et \u00e0 l\u2019activation r\u00e9cents de l\u2019initiative \u201c Stream \u201d visant \u00e0 am\u00e9liorer la gestion et la s\u00e9curit\u00e9 de la mer Rouge.<\/p>\n

L\u2019\u00c9gypte a officiellement annonc\u00e9 le lancement de l\u2019Initiative de d\u00e9veloppement \u00e9conomique et maritime de Suez et de la mer Rouge (STRIM) en octobre 2025, lors du Forum d\u2019Assouan pour la paix et le d\u00e9veloppement durables. Le ministre Abdel Latif a pr\u00e9sent\u00e9 cette initiative, qui s\u2019inscrit dans la strat\u00e9gie plus large du Caire visant \u00e0 renforcer la coop\u00e9ration entre les \u00c9tats de la mer Rouge et du golfe d\u2019Aden dans les domaines de la s\u00e9curit\u00e9 maritime, de l\u2019int\u00e9gration \u00e9conomique et de la gouvernance r\u00e9gionale.<\/p>\n

L\u2019\u00c9gypte et le Y\u00e9men ont intensifi\u00e9 leur coordination en mati\u00e8re de s\u00e9curit\u00e9 en mer Rouge face \u00e0 l\u2019escalade des tensions r\u00e9gionales, aux attaques des Houthis contre les routes maritimes internationales et au d\u00e9ploiement croissant de forces militaires \u00e9trang\u00e8res dans et autour de cette voie navigable strat\u00e9gique.<\/p>\n

Le Caire a mis en garde \u00e0 plusieurs reprises contre la militarisation de la mer Rouge et a soulign\u00e9 que la responsabilit\u00e9 de s\u00e9curiser ce passage devait incomber aux pays arabes et africains riverains.<\/p>\n

Cette rencontre intervient dans un contexte d'efforts diplomatiques continus concernant le conflit qui perdure au Y\u00e9men.
