Le minist\u00e8re des Affaires \u00e9trang\u00e8res, de la Coop\u00e9ration internationale et des \u00c9gyptiens de l'\u00e9tranger, en coop\u00e9ration avec le minist\u00e8re de l'Enseignement sup\u00e9rieur et de la Recherche scientifique, a organis\u00e9 une c\u00e9l\u00e9bration \u00e0 l'occasion de la Journ\u00e9e de l'Afrique au si\u00e8ge de l'Universit\u00e9 du Caire, en pr\u00e9sence du Dr Badr Abdel-Aty, ministre des Affaires \u00e9trang\u00e8res, de la Coop\u00e9ration internationale et des \u00c9gyptiens de l'\u00e9tranger, du Dr Abdel-Aziz Qansouh, ministre de l'Enseignement sup\u00e9rieur et de la Recherche scientifique, du Dr Mohamed Sami Abdel-Sadek, pr\u00e9sident de l'Universit\u00e9 du Caire, et d'une participation de haut niveau comprenant des ambassadeurs africains et \u00e9trangers accr\u00e9dit\u00e9s en \u00c9gypte, un certain nombre de personnalit\u00e9s publiques, de leaders d'opinion, d'universitaires et de personnalit\u00e9s des m\u00e9dias, en plus de la participation du ministre des Affaires \u00e9trang\u00e8res de l'Union des Comores et du vice-pr\u00e9sident de l'Assembl\u00e9e nationale du S\u00e9n\u00e9gal en tant qu'invit\u00e9s d'honneur.<\/p>\n

La c\u00e9l\u00e9bration a d\u00e9but\u00e9 par un discours enregistr\u00e9 du pr\u00e9sident Abdel Fattah al-Sissi, dans lequel il a soulign\u00e9 que le continent africain se trouve aujourd'hui \u00e0 l'aube d'une nouvelle \u00e8re de construction et de d\u00e9veloppement, fond\u00e9e sur son immense potentiel et ses riches ressources, et, auparavant, sur la volont\u00e9 de ses peuples et leur ferme d\u00e9termination \u00e0 tirer pleinement profit de leurs richesses. Il a insist\u00e9 sur le fait que l'\u00c9gypte restera un partenaire actif dans le soutien au d\u00e9veloppement et \u00e0 la construction des pays africains fr\u00e8res, par le biais d'\u00e9changes d'exp\u00e9riences, de la mise en \u0153uvre de projets et d'une ouverture \u00e0 la coop\u00e9ration avec divers partenaires internationaux, dans un cadre de respect mutuel et d'int\u00e9r\u00eats communs, afin de r\u00e9aliser les priorit\u00e9s des peuples et des pays du continent.<\/p>\n

La c\u00e9l\u00e9bration comprenait un discours enregistr\u00e9 du pr\u00e9sident de la Commission de l'Union africaine, ainsi que la projection d'un documentaire sur les relations \u00e9gypto-africaines et leur d\u00e9veloppement et leur dynamique dans divers domaines politiques, \u00e9conomiques et de d\u00e9veloppement, en plus d'un film sur le r\u00f4le de l'Universit\u00e9 du Caire dans le soutien et le renforcement des relations avec les pays africains, l'accueil d'\u00e9tudiants africains et le soutien aux parcours \u00e9ducatifs et au renforcement des capacit\u00e9s.<\/p>\n

Le Dr Badr Abdel-Aty, ministre des Affaires \u00e9trang\u00e8res, de la Coop\u00e9ration internationale et des \u00c9gyptiens de l'\u00e9tranger, a prononc\u00e9 un discours dans lequel il a soulign\u00e9 que la c\u00e9l\u00e9bration de la Journ\u00e9e de l'Afrique refl\u00e8te la profondeur des liens historiques qui unissent l'\u00c9gypte \u00e0 ses fr\u00e8res du continent, faisant r\u00e9f\u00e9rence aux directives du pr\u00e9sident de la R\u00e9publique visant \u00e0 renforcer l'engagement \u00e9gyptien en Afrique et \u00e0 consolider les partenariats strat\u00e9giques avec les pays africains fr\u00e8res.<\/p>\n

Il a soulign\u00e9 que la politique de l\u2019\u00c9gypte envers le continent repose sur le lien entre paix, s\u00e9curit\u00e9 et d\u00e9veloppement durable, tout en continuant \u00e0 soutenir le renforcement des capacit\u00e9s, le transfert d\u2019expertise \u00e9gyptienne et la mise en \u0153uvre de l\u2019Agenda 2063 de l\u2019Union africaine. Il a not\u00e9 le succ\u00e8s de l\u2019\u00c9gypte dans la pr\u00e9sentation de mod\u00e8les pionniers de coop\u00e9ration et de d\u00e9veloppement sur le continent, notamment le projet de barrage Julius Nyerere en Tanzanie comme mod\u00e8le de coop\u00e9ration Sud-Sud, a soulign\u00e9 le r\u00f4le pionnier de Son Excellence le Pr\u00e9sident Abdel Fattah El-Sisi dans le dossier de la reconstruction et du d\u00e9veloppement apr\u00e8s les conflits, et a mentionn\u00e9 l\u2019organisation par l\u2019\u00c9gypte du Forum africain d\u2019El Alamein et du sommet de coordination de mi-ann\u00e9e de l\u2019Union africaine, ainsi que les pr\u00e9paratifs en cours pour l\u2019organisation de la sixi\u00e8me \u00e9dition du Forum d\u2019Assouan pour la paix et le d\u00e9veloppement durables, ce qui refl\u00e8te le statut et le r\u00f4le central de l\u2019\u00c9gypte dans le soutien \u00e0 l\u2019action africaine commune.<\/p>\n

\u00c9loges du r\u00f4le de l'\u00c9gypte dans le soutien aux enjeux du continent et au d\u00e9veloppement durable<\/h1>\n

L'ambassadeur du Cameroun, en sa qualit\u00e9 de doyen du corps diplomatique africain, a prononc\u00e9 un discours saluant les liens historiques profonds qui unissent l'\u00c9gypte aux pays du continent et le r\u00f4le actif de l'\u00c9gypte dans le soutien aux causes africaines et le renforcement de l'action africaine commune. L'\u00e9v\u00e9nement a \u00e9galement \u00e9t\u00e9 l'occasion d'honorer plusieurs personnalit\u00e9s pour leur contribution au renforcement des relations africaines et au d\u00e9veloppement de la coop\u00e9ration entre les peuples du continent.
