Minister Amr Adel, Chairman of the Administrative Control Authority, received Ibevan Zoro, Minister of Governance, Capacity Building and Anti-Corruption of the Republic of Côte d'Ivoire, and Albert Guy Dollé, Ambassador of the Republic of Côte d'Ivoire to the Arab Republic of Egypt, at the headquarters of the Administrative Control Authority in the New Capital, in an official visit aimed at discussing ways of bilateral cooperation between the two sides.

This comes within the framework of the importance of combining the efforts of regional and Arab powers to prevent and combat corruption and support development paths.

The Administrative Control Authority signs a memorandum of understanding with Côte d'Ivoire

During the meeting, Minister Amr Adel emphasized the African ties that bind the two countries, noting the continuous development of bilateral relations in various fields.

A memorandum of understanding was also signed between the two sides to exchange experiences and build capacities in areas of common interest, particularly in the areas of employing information technology to prevent corruption.

Strengthening cooperation in exchanging experiences, building capacities, and combating corruption

For his part, Mr. Ebivan Zorro praised the Authority’s role in the areas of preventing and combating corruption, as well as its efforts during its presidency of the Union of African Anti-Corruption Authorities during the past period, in addition to its tireless pursuit of developing an international methodology for measuring the effectiveness of anti-corruption bodies through its partnerships with its international counterparts.
