Egypt invites Kenya to attend the El Alamein African Business Forum

التقى حاتم يسري، سفير جمهورية مصر العربية لدى كينيا، مع الرئيس التنفيذي لغرفة التجارة والصناعة الوطنية Kenyan، ك.ك. موتاي لبحث سبل تعزيز التعاون الاقتصادي والتجاري بين مصر وكينيا، وتطوير الروابط بين مجتمعات الأعمال في البلدين.

أهمية مشاركة كينيا في منتدى العلمين الإفريقي للأعمال

وأكد السفير يسري على أهمية مشاركة كينيا في “منتدى العلمين الإفريقي للأعمال” المقرر عقده في يونيو 2026 بمدينة العلمين الجديدة في مصر.

ويهدف المنتدى، الأول من نوعه، إلى جمع الحكومات الإفريقية وقادة الأعمال والمستثمرين لتعزيز التكامل الاقتصادي الإفريقي وتوطيد الشراكات بين الدول الإفريقية.

فرصة للشركات الكينية لاستكشاف فرص الأعمال في مصر

وقدّم السفير دعوة رسمية لـ موتاي لحضور منتدى العلمين الإفريقي للأعمال، مشيرًا إلى أنه سيمثل فرصةً للشركات الكينية لاستكشاف فرص الأعمال في مصر، بالإضافة إلى استكشاف فرص التعاون مع شركات إفريقية أخرى.

في سياق آخر،  استقبل النائب العام المصري المستشار محمد شوقي بمقر مكتبه، رينسون إمبونجا النائب العام لجمهورية كينيا، والوفد المرافق له، وذلك في إطار تعزيز التعاون القضائي والقانوني بين البلدين الشقيقين، وتأكيدًا لعمق الروابط التاريخية التي تجمع جمهورية مصر العربية بدول القارة الإفريقية.

The visit included an extensive session of talks between the two sides, which addressed ways to support joint cooperation in the areas of combating organized and transnational crime, cybercrimes, and the exchange of experiences in the areas of training and capacity building, as well as discussing mechanisms for judicial coordination between the two public prosecutions, in order to enhance efforts to achieve justice and consolidate the rule of law.

Extensive relationship with African judicial institutions

The Egyptian Attorney General delivered a speech in which he welcomed Egypt’s distinguished guest, stressing the Egyptian Public Prosecution’s pride in its long-standing relations with African judicial institutions, and its constant commitment to supporting continental cooperation frameworks and exchanging legal and judicial expertise, in order to contribute to consolidating security and stability and achieving the aspirations of African peoples for development and justice.

The Kenyan Attorney General delivered a speech in which he expressed his deep appreciation for the warm welcome, praising the pivotal role played by the Arab Republic of Egypt in supporting joint African action, and the institutional and technical development witnessed by the Egyptian Public Prosecution, which reflects a modern vision in managing the justice system.

At the conclusion of the visit, the two sides exchanged commemorative shields, documenting the depth of bilateral relations and affirming the continuation of cooperation and joint coordination between the two public prosecutions in various areas of common interest.
