Lieutenant General Ahmed Khalifa meets with the Chief of Staff of the Democratic Republic of Congo
Lieutenant General Ahmed Khalifa, Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces, received Lieutenant General Banza Mwilambwe Gole, Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Democratic Republic of Congo, and his accompanying delegation during his current visit to Egypt, where an official reception ceremony was held for him at the headquarters of the General Secretariat of the Ministry of Defense, and the military bands played the national anthems of both countries.
Discussion of the situation in the African continent
The meeting witnessed a discussion of a number of issues of common interest, in addition to reviewing the most prominent developments on the regional and international scenes, and their implications for security and stability in the African continent.
Military cooperation between Egypt and Congo
The two sides also discussed ways to enhance joint cooperation in various military fields between the armed forces of the two countries, in order to support bilateral relations and strengthen efforts to maintain security and stability.
The meeting was attended by a number of senior armed forces commanders from both sides, in addition to the Congolese ambassador to Cairo.
