رئيس بنين يصل إثيوبيا في زيارة لتعزيز العلاقات الثنائية

وصل رئيس بنين، روموالد واداجني، في وقت مبكر من صباح اليوم إلى أديس أبابا، في زيارة عمل رسمية تهدف إلى تعزيز العلاقات الثنائية بين إثيوبيا وبنين.
وكان في استقبال الزعيم البنيني لدى وصوله إلى مطار أديس أبابا بولي الدولي، نائب رئيس الوزراء الإثيوبي تيميسجين ترونه، إلى جانب مسؤولين حكوميين كبار آخرين.
وعقب مراسم الاستقبال، نشر نائب رئيس الوزراء تيميسجين، رسالة عبر وسائل التواصل الاجتماعي، أعرب فيها عن اعتزازه الكبير باستقبال الرئيس واداجني في إثيوبيا.
ووصف إثيوبيا بأنها مهد البشرية وأرض الحضارات العريقة، ودولة يجسد تاريخها الغني قيم الصمود والكرامة والتجدد.
كما أبدى نائب رئيس الوزراء ثقته بأن الزيارة ستكون مثمرة ولا تُنسى، وستضفي زخماً جديداً على علاقات الصداقة والتضامن والتعاون الراسخة بين إثيوبيا وبنين.
وأضاف أن الزيارة من شأنها تعميق التواصل الثنائي ودفع عجلة التعاون الذي يحقق المصالح المشتركة، بما يعزز التزام البلدين الأفريقيين بتوطيد العلاقات الدبلوماسية والاقتصادية والروابط الشعبية.
مباحثات بين موريتانيا وبنين
The President of Mauritania, Mohamed Ould Ghazouani, and his Beninese counterpart, Romuald Wadani, agreed during discussions held in Nouakchott on Monday to continue political dialogue and support joint initiatives aimed at strengthening economic exchange, investment, and sustainable development, serving the interests of both peoples.
The Beninese presidency stated that the discussions, which took place at the presidential palace during a one-day working visit by the Beninese President to Mauritania, focused on ways to strengthen bilateral cooperation, and reviewed the state of relations between the two countries and prospects for elevating them to a more structured partnership based on strategic sectors.
She added that economic development, security, connectivity, and regional integration issues topped the agenda of the discussions, emphasizing that the visit reflects the shared ambition of Mauritania and Benin to build a strong cooperation based on trust, solidarity, and a unified vision to face the challenges of development, peace, and integration in the African continent.
For its part, the Mauritanian presidency clarified that President Mohamed Ould Sheikh Ghazouani held one-on-one talks with his Beninese counterpart, who began his first working visit to Mauritania since taking office, before the talks expanded to include members of the Mauritanian and Beninese delegations, without revealing additional details about the meeting's outcomes.
This meeting is a new milestone in a regional tour by Beninese President Romuald Wadani, who was elected president of Benin on April 12 and inaugurated on May 24. Since taking office, he has visited several West African countries and discussed with their leaders ways to enhance bilateral cooperation and develop regional partnerships.
