Baku hosts the launch of the annual meetings of the Islamic Development Bank Group

انطلقت صباح اليوم في العاصمة الأذربيجانية، باكو، أعمال الاجتماعات السنوية لمجموعة البنك الإسلامي للتنمية خلال مراسم افتتاح رسمية رفيعة المستوى ترأسها رئيس جمهورية أذربيجان إلحام علييف وذلك بحضور وفود الدول الأعضاء وممثلي المؤسسات المالية الدولية وشركاء التنمية.
وشارك وزير الدولة، وزير المالية والميزانية والاقتصاد والتخطيط والتعاون الدولي، مرفوقًا بالوزير المنتدب المكلف بالاقتصاد والتخطيط، في فعاليات هذا الحدث الاقتصادي الدولي، الذي يشكل منصة رئيسية لتعزيز التنسيق بين الدول الأعضاء ومؤسسات التمويل التنموي، وتبادل الرؤى حول أولويات التنمية والتمويل المستدام.
تشاد حريصة على تعزيز شراكتها مع المجموعة
وتأتي مشاركة الوفد التشادي في إطار حرص حكومة تشاد على تعزيز شراكتها مع مجموعة البنك الإسلامي للتنمية، وتوسيع آفاق التعاون في مجالات تعبئة الموارد المالية ودعم البرامج والمشاريع التنموية ذات الأولوية، بما يسهم في دفع مسار التنمية الاقتصادية والاجتماعية في البلاد.
ويكتسي هذا الاجتماع أهمية خاصة بالنظر إلى التحديات المتزايدة التي تواجه الاقتصادات النامية، والحاجة إلى حلول تمويلية مبتكرة وشراكات متعددة الأطراف أكثر فاعلية لدعم النمو المستدام.
في سياق آخر، بحثت حكومة تشاد مع البنك الإسلامي للتنمية سبل تسريع تنفيذ إطار التعاون المشترك ودعم خطة التنمية الوطنية “تشاد كونكسيون 2030”، وذلك على هامش الاجتماعات السنوية للبنك الإسلامي للتنمية.
Chad’s Minister of State, Minister of Finance, Budget, Economy, Planning and International Cooperation, Tahir Hamed Angeline, accompanied by Minister Delegate Saleh Borma Ali, held a meeting with the Vice President of the Islamic Development Bank Group for Operations, Dr. Rami Mohamed Said Ahmed, to review the level of progress in implementing the agreements signed between the two sides in January 2026.
The meeting addressed the evaluation of the financial and technical commitments provided by the bank to support the national development plan, in addition to discussing mechanisms to enhance partnership and accelerate the mobilization of the necessary financial resources to implement priority projects.
Areas of cooperation included education, health and water sectors, in addition to infrastructure and road projects, with the aim of improving internal connectivity between regions, reducing isolation and promoting balanced development.
During the talks, both sides affirmed their commitment to continuing coordination and intensifying efforts to ensure the effective implementation of development projects, which will contribute to supporting the economic transformation process in Chad and achieving the Sustainable Development Goals within the “Chad Connection 2030” vision.
