The two sides also explored ways to strengthen partnerships between Egyptian and Kenyan institutions and companies working in this vital sector.

The meeting paid special attention to capacity building and knowledge exchange through specialized training programs, technical workshops and professional development initiatives, which contribute to strengthening institutional and human capacities in both countries.
Both sides also emphasized the importance of exchanging best practices, engineering expertise, innovations and modern technologies that contribute to developing a sustainable infrastructure capable of meeting future challenges, in support of development efforts in Egypt and Kenya.

In a separate context, Egyptian relations witnessed Kenyan A new push towards economic cooperation, following an official meeting between the Minister of Mining, Blue Economy and Maritime Affairs in Kenya, Hassan Ali Johar, and the Ambassador of the Arab Republic of Egypt to Kenya, Dr. Hatem Yousry Hosny, where the talks addressed prospects for partnership in the mining, maritime transport and logistics sectors, which enhances regional integration and opens up promising investment opportunities.
Strengthening cooperation in the mining sector
Hassan Ali Johar explained in a post on his official page on the social networking site X that the talks focused on the importance of developing bilateral cooperation in the field of adding value to minerals, as it is one of the vital sectors that has great potential to drive industrial growth in Kenya.

Both sides affirmed that investment in mining value chains can contribute to creating sustainable job opportunities, in addition to supporting the national economy and enhancing the competitiveness of Kenyan products in global markets.
Maritime transport and logistics
The two sides also discussed ways to enhance cooperation in the maritime transport and logistics sector, as it is a key pillar for facilitating trade between the two countries and the countries of the region.
The importance of developing maritime infrastructure and improving the efficiency of supply chains was emphasized, in order to enhance regional connectivity and support trade exchange.
