During the talks, the President reaffirmed Egypt\u2019s support and full solidarity with the sisterly Sultanate of Oman in light of the current regional developments, stressing Egypt\u2019s keenness to preserve the stability of the Sultanate and the Arab countries and to protect their sovereignty, security and the resources of their peoples.<\/p>\n

The talks also addressed the latest regional developments, with the two leaders stressing the importance of supporting efforts to resolve the current crisis in the region through negotiations, containing tensions and avoiding escalation to spare the region further instability and the dire consequences that will affect everyone.<\/p>\n

For his part, His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tariq expressed his deep appreciation for Egypt\u2019s steadfast position and its continued support for the security and stability of Arab countries, praising the active Egyptian role in efforts to calm tensions in the Middle East.<\/p>\n

The official spokesperson also explained that the talks touched on bilateral cooperation relations between Egypt and the Sultanate of Oman, where the two leaders expressed their satisfaction with the distinguished level that relations between the two countries have reached, and agreed to continue joint work to raise them to broader horizons, reflecting the depth of the fraternal ties between the two peoples.<\/p>\n
