President Paul Kagame announced the launch Electronic identity system<\/a> In Rwanda, in a strategic move reflecting the country\u2019s commitment to accelerating the pace of digital transformation and enhancing the efficiency of government services, this announcement comes as part of national efforts aimed at building an advanced digital infrastructure that serves various segments of society.<\/p>\n

A qualitative leap in government services<\/h2>\n

It represents Electronic identity system<\/a> This represents a radical shift in how services are delivered, as every individual will be issued a digital ID from birth. This step will facilitate access to public and private services, reduce reliance on paper documents, and significantly expedite administrative procedures. The system also allows citizens and residents to use a unified identity for various daily transactions.<\/p>\n

Enhancing security using advanced technology<\/h3>\n

The new system relies on cutting-edge technologies to ensure the highest levels of security, including the use of biometric data and iris scanning. These features aim to protect individuals' data and prevent manipulation or forgery, thereby enhancing trust in the digital system and encouraging its widespread adoption.
