The Minister of Culture, Information, Antiquities and Tourism, Khaled Al-Aisir, visited today the new headquarters of the Sudanese Embassy in the Egyptian capital, Cairo.<\/p>\n

He was received by the Sudanese Ambassador to the Arab Republic of Egypt, Lieutenant General Engineer Emad El-Din Mustafa Adawi, along with the Permanent Representative to League of Arab States<\/a> The embassy staff consists of diplomats and advisors.<\/p>\n

Consular and immigration services<\/strong><\/p>\n

During the visit, the minister toured the embassy departments and reviewed the work mechanisms, where Ambassador Emad El-Din Mustafa Adawi provided an explanation of the workflow, followed by an inspection tour that included the various consular, immigration, educational and medical services provided to Sudanese nationals in Egypt.<\/p>\n

The minister expressed his appreciation for the efforts of the ambassador and the embassy staff in serving the Sudanese community, despite their large numbers, praising the coordination and cooperation in developing Sudanese-Egyptian relations.<\/p>\n

He also praised the remarkable transformation in the provision of services, emphasizing its importance. Digital transformation<\/a> To facilitate citizens' access to services efficiently and easily.<\/p>\n

The minister met with a number of Sudanese citizens and listened to a detailed explanation of the nature of the services and the challenges they face, pledging to convey their demands to the relevant authorities and work to address them.<\/p>\n

A train operating from Cairo<\/strong><\/p>\n

In a show of solidarity, Minister Al-Aisir announced that his ministry would cover the costs of a train operating from Cairo as part of the voluntary return program, which is supervised by the Sudanese embassy.<\/p>\n

This support comes as part of the Ministry\u2019s contribution to facilitating the return of members of the culture, theater, arts, literature, media, antiquities and tourism sectors, in addition to citizens wishing to return to Sudan and their families.<\/p>\n

For his part, Ambassador Adawi reviewed the embassy\u2019s efforts in promoting media and cultural cooperation with Egyptian institutions and relevant bodies at the League of Arab States, stressing the mission\u2019s commitment to implementing the ministry\u2019s directives to enhance joint cooperation and exchange experiences, and to provide training opportunities for Sudanese media professionals and journalists in support of their national roles.<\/p>\n
