The Egyptian ambassador began the meeting by offering congratulations on the smooth conduct and success of the presidential elections in the Republic of Djibouti, which resulted in the re-election of President Ismail Omar Guelleh as president of the country, reflecting the great confidence he enjoys among the Djiboutian people.<\/p>\n
The meeting also discussed arrangements for the upcoming visit of Colonel Mohamed Jameh Douala to his second home, Egypt, as part of an official invitation.<\/p>\n
The meeting also touched on an exchange of views on a number of regional and international issues of common interest to Egypt and Djibouti.<\/p>\n
At the end of the meeting, the commander of the Republican Guard forces was presented with a commemorative gift from the Egyptian Armed Forces.<\/p>\n
