He affirmed that Ugandan-American relations have witnessed fruitful cooperation in numerous areas of mutual interest over the past years.<\/p>\n

The meeting included an exchange of views on a number of issues and topics of mutual interest, as well as discussions on future cooperation between Uganda and the United States. The two sides also addressed ways to strengthen their partnership in the development, investment, and trade sectors, in addition to regional and international issues requiring ongoing coordination and cooperation.<\/p>\n

President Museveni affirmed his country\u2019s commitment to continuing joint work with the United States to serve the goals of development, stability and prosperity in the region, stressing the importance of bilateral relations in confronting common challenges and enhancing opportunities for economic growth.<\/p>\n
