Date of the Egypt vs. Algeria youth match in the North African qualifiers

The Egyptian national youth team (born in 2009) concludes its journey in the North African (UNAF) qualifiers for the Africa Cup of Nations under 17 years, where it will face its Algerian counterpart at 2 pm today in the Libyan city of Benghazi.
The Egyptian national team enters the match with high morale after officially securing its qualification since the last round, following its exciting 2-1 victory over the Libyan national team, raising its tally to 6 points and regaining second place.

The Pharaohs had started their campaign with a 1-0 victory over Tunisia, before suffering a 2-1 defeat against Morocco, despite putting on a strong performance in both matches.
On the other hand, the Algerian national team is seeking to finish the qualifiers on a positive note, after it too secured qualification for the finals.
The Desert Warriors have achieved 4 points from their first three matches, having beaten Libya 5-1, then lost to Morocco 3-0, before drawing with Tunisia 1-1.

The Egypt vs. Algeria Under-17 match is scheduled to take place this Sunday evening at 2:00 PM Cairo time, and will be broadcast on ON Sport channel.
The Egyptian national team, led by coach Hussein Abdel Latif, secured qualification after the third round, winning against Libya 2-1. Before that, they won against Tunisia with a clean goal in the first round, then lost to Morocco 2-1. The Pharaohs obtained 6 points, which granted them passage to the finals regardless of the result of today’s match.
