President Abdel Fattah SisiHe conducted an inspection tour of the Strategic Command headquarters in the new capital, where he was received by Lieutenant General Ashraf Salem Zaher, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces and Minister of Defense and Military Production, and Lieutenant General Ahmed Khalifa, Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces, along with the commanders of the main branches of the Armed Forces.

The official spokesman for the Presidency of the Republic stated that the President performed the noon prayer during his tour of the Strategic Command with the leaders of the armed forces.

Egypt continues its steadfast approach in strengthening Arab solidarity.

Ambassador Mohamed El Shenawy, the official spokesperson, added that the President then visited the Egyptian Military Academy, where he observed some of the training activities carried out by students studying at the Academy, whether from Egyptian military colleges or those enrolled in the Academy’s courses from various ministries and state institutions.

In this context, the President stressed the need to continue raising the efficiency of students by providing them with the best types of training, in accordance with the highest technical and personal standards, to ensure the preparation of distinguished national cadres who serve state institutions with efficiency and competence.

The official spokesman explained that the President shared a lunch with the students of the Military Academy, in an atmosphere characterized by friendliness and appreciation. During the meeting, His Excellency was keen to conduct an interactive dialogue with the students, which addressed the internal situation and current regional developments, pointing to the repercussions of the successive crises on the national economy, and appreciating the level of awareness and understanding among the sons of the Egyptian people.

In this context, the President stressed that the Iranian crisis and the escalation of tensions in the region have cast a negative and dangerous shadow on the global economy and the stability of the region, stressing that the Egyptian state continues to consolidate its firm approach in support of Arab unity and strengthening solidarity among sister countries, based on a firm belief that the stability of the Arab world is a shared responsibility that cannot be divided.

The official spokesman indicated that the President affirmed that the purpose of his visits to the academy is to personally check on the students’ conditions and follow up on the educational programs that are witnessing continuous development, praising the seriousness and commitment he always observes among the students, whether from Egyptian military colleges or those enrolled in the academy’s courses from various state institutions.

The President concluded his inspection tour by recording a message of thanks and appreciation to the leaders of the armed forces, and his sincere wishes for success and good fortune to the students of the academy, stressing the vital role of the students’ families in raising generations capable of achieving the nation’s hopes for development and building a more prosperous future.
